There is no communication. The phone numbers have been disconnected. Emails are not answered.

I ordered the part and received the wrong handed operator. I reached out to them on their site, emailed them, and left voicemails letting them know I need proper part and help with returning wrong part. It’s been one week today and they have not reached out to me once! Found what I needed elsewhere for less but still need to return the wrong one they sent me. This company sucks and does not send proper parts nor respond to customers that need assistance. WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY TO EVEN TAKE OUT THE TRASH, WHICH IS WHAT THEY ARE!

I ordered sash balances from Direct Window Parts, which were shipped but the strength was wrong for the specified number printed on the balances, therefore not holding the window sash up. I tried to connect with direct window parts, but there's no-on picking up the phone and the e-mail doesn't go anywhere either.
So, I'm stuck with non-functioning parts. This company is an online shop front only, they relay the order to a company called Hi-Tech glazing supplies, which relays it on to Richelieu hardware who ships the parts. Richelieu says that they don't accept returns from Direct window parts.

The part was a perfect drop-in replacement. Shipping took a little longer than expected, otherwise this would be a five star review.

Great Stock of parts, pricing competitive, good service.

Totally negative experience: no tracking number, no response to email requests for info, no return phone call despite message promising one in 24 hours. Finally cancelled transaction thru credit card. Steer way clear of this shite outfit.

The main reason is your website is clear enough that I could select the correct part

The product arrived and it is fine. My frustration is that I placed the order and realized that I forgot to include one part, so I left a phone message and sent an email asking if and how could I amend my order. No one got back to me and the next I heard was that my original order had been sent.

I haven’t received them yet.
Also I found them somewhere else for less money.

You had the exact part i needed. It was promptly shipped out from Quebec to Oshawa Ontario. Excellent price as well.

I found the website informative and easy to order items. Once I placed an online order I recieved an order confirmation with an order number promptly. I recieved my order within a week of ordering and a shipping confirmation prior to that. I recieved the items as described no problems. The reason I only gave 4 stars is because I had tried a number of times to contact someone from this company in regards to my order and was never able to get a reply. Their toll free number is voicemail with no options to speak to anyone in person I left a message which was supposed to be replied too within one business day and never got a response. I also left a typed message in a box on their site and got no response from that either. I think there is room for improvement on their customer communication skills. Aside from that issue it was a good transaction.

I received exactly what I asked for within one week of ordering! I applaud Direct Window Parts' promptness, accuracy and choice of courier.

To find the parts we needed was easy to do. The selection was also good.

Wrong parts were sent

Very high quality parts. They fit perfectly. The window opens and closes beautifully now.
The original builder parts were rusted and one arm was broken. I’m going to replace all the other hinges and operators in the house. Much cheaper than new windows.

I placed my order on March 30th, Money was taken from my account the same day. I received an email with order number and that was it. I have tried every day to reach someone either by email or phone and have not heard anything.
Very disturbing and frustrating.
I still have not heard anything from this group. Not very Canadian of them. Over 2 weeks, many phone messages, etc...
Finally after getting ahold of my bank 40 days later, they contact me with some AI bot, and good old ALEX sent my money back. Stay very far away from these frauds. Never in my life!
