Product claims are FALSE and they DO NOT stand behind their product / guarantee doesn’t exist!

I have naturally curly hair that tends to become frizzy once dry. I purchased TréLuxe products in good faith, but unfortunately, they did not meet my expectations. The product left my hair feeling crunchy and straw-like, making it difficult to separate the curls. I used my fingers to separate the curls but because the product was similar to glue it pulled a lot of hair out while doing this.

As a customer who values the company’s commitment to its products, I requested a refund. The company provided me with a shipping label via email for the return of the items. I visited our local UPS store, as I do not have a printer, and they printed a label for me. Additionally, the store accepts USPS packages for pick-up, so I left the package there.

I am a regular customer at this UPS and the owner recalls me bringing in four packages on March 26, 2026. Three of the packages successfully reached their destinations. However, the package TréLuxe provided the shipping label for did not arrive at the return destination.

To substantiate my claim, I emailed the label to the UPS store and took a screenshot of the package with the label attached. I also have the UPS receipt for the purchase of the label.

Upon realizing the excessive delay in my refund, I initiated contact with TréLuxe via email. I also attempted to track the package number, but it remained unreachable. Consequently, I contacted USPS twice, engaging in a nearly hour-long conversation both times with a representative to ascertain the potential causes of the package’s disappearance and to await their investigation. The representative informed me that many packages, similar to mine, are returned due to unpaid labels, which are subsequently removed from their system. I subsequently contacted TréLuxe multiple times, requesting confirmation of the package’s receipt. Ultimately, I conceded to the possibility of the package being lost in transit. My contact person, Nike, who was handling my claim, responded with a firm stance, stating that no package equates to no refund. I believe this company is financially struggling, as most companies would prioritize customer satisfaction and refund a customer their money, especially given the evidence of return I provided. I do not believe they offer any guarantees for their products providing unpaid labels to customers. I explained to Nike I’m a senior citizen and this was an expensive purchase for me. I sought to simplify my life by allowing my hair to naturally dry without using heat styling tools. However, I received no empathy, compassion, or any promise to work with me to avoid incurring an additional $80 loss for a product that failed to meet my expectations. I do not recommend their product, as it does not perform as advertised. It appears to be an ordinary moose that left my hair somewhat crunchy and straw-like. When I run my fingers through my hair to remove the straw appearance, it also removes most signs of a curl.
I do not recommend TréLuxe or their products. The bad reviews explains why they do not have a Facebook page.
