Worst employer ever, cheats, keeps giving false excuses, definition of being unfair

I was hired by a man called Vikesh Mehta. After a long time waiting for him to finally kick it off after an exchange of emails, he invited me to London, promised accomodation for the training purpose. I had to stay in his dirty warehouse where he gave me an air pumped mattress to sleep on and throughout 2 or 3 weeks of time I spent there, I observed how he treats people, his business, his partners, his employees...don't ever trust this man regardless on which side of the business you are - one of the worst experiences of a human being I've ever had on any aspect...he would cheat the hell out of anyone. I ended up not getting paid for 2 weeks of my life spent at his warehouse (he did pay me for the first week though), waiting for him to train me, which never happened, with this guy blaming everything on me and trying to play me and make me feel guilty. Notoriously late, notoriously lying to everyone, probably the world's least trustworthy man, don't do any business with him, I was a fool to even try. At times he was even aggressive towards me and at the end when I told him I do not want to work for him, he refused to shake my hand, called me a 'piece of s**t' and kicked me out on the street, not keeping his promise of making sure I can (at least) get a safe return trip back home (I flew from Poland to London to work for him). Traumatic experience.

The worst experience

Disc Wizards, is simply the worst ever vinyl/cd duplication service. Communication is NON-EXISTENT even though they got all the money. The final project is nowhere to be seen and it has been almost a year late since the promised delivery date. What a joke and how can you sleep well with all of this utterly rubbish job that you do to other people. The company apparently run by this irresponsible husband & wife VIKESH MEHTA & NEELSHIKHA MEHTA as well as a secretary GAJENDRA MEHTA. I can't believe these kind of people exist in this wonderful industry. AVOID AT ALL COST!

Disc Wizards Ghosted Me!

Can someone on here please help me? Disc Wizards hasn't been returning my emails or calls for MONTHS. I am hearing other folks on here with similar problems. At this point, it seems that placing a re-order for vinyl that I had previously pressed with them is impossible. Does anyone know where they keep the stampers so that I can take them to a different company to press up copies of our album? Or maybe they are kept at a plant that I can contact directly? I have a tour coming up and I can't wait the 8 months to cut again from scratch and do the whole test pressing thing and resubmit the artwork.

Any help would be appreciated.

Trust Pilot doesn't allow me to add an email address, but you can easily find us on socials: The Last Internationale.

Thanks!
Edgey

Absolutely shocking service

Absolutely shocking service. Completely ignore emails and phone calls.
They have £2500 of my money and I don’t have my order. Test pressings took 3 times as long to arrive than promised, now nothing. A trip to the premises is now going to have to happen.
Bad bad bad…take your money elsewhere.

Utterly terrible service

Utterly terrible service. Ordered a 1000 vinyl pressing in April 2021. Finally received ¼ of them on August 7th 2022. They arrived in the wrong sleeves and I’ve been told that’s the only sleeves available!! Not what I ordered at all. I was also told the whole pressing had been run and would be delivered all together. Now waiting for the remaining 3/4 of units and no idea of delivery date. Communication virtually non existent. I’ll send 3 - 4 emails over the course of a few weeks to eventually get a 3 word response which does not answer any of my questions. Appalling service all round.
Now over £3000 out of pocket with only 265 of the 1000 units ordered received and they are in the wrong packaging. Avoid at all costs.

Having used discwizards a lot in the…

Having used discwizards a lot in the past, I've been very disappointed with a recent order which has taken nearly 3 months. First order arrived with no audio, second order delivered were albums from a different artist, and I'm still waiting with 1 week to go until a launch gig. Its cost time, money and promotional time for the artist in question. Communication has been poor and print quality/colour matching has been under par. I would not recommend using this company and after speaking with several industry colleagues, they're fast gaining themselves a reputation for a shoddy service.

Never again

Trusted them into skipping test pressing and ended up with very noisy albums. Also got more than 10% damaged on delivery. They didn't care about the first problem and after seeing pics of damage asked me to post them back so they could reimburse less than a fifth for each. Shameful. To be avoided at all cost.

Good product, but quality control lacking

I've used Disc Wizards 3 times in as many years, due to the high quality printing product they offer.
In terms of online customer service, they're quick to respond to queries, offer a price matching service and are polite. A turn around of 2 weeks isn't too bad, either.
I've been reasonably happy with the final product I've received, especially the print quality; detailed and vibrant with a nice finish.
Unfortunately on two occasions I've been unable to sell around 20 out of 100 CDs as there was visible damage (such as score marks, dents, scratches, long strings of glue from the glue gun inside the clear plastic tray, glue stuck on the cover art ). I mentioned this to them via email, although I received no response.
It's a shame because the print quality tends to be high. It's just the assembly/handling side of things that's resulting in the damaged units, and this should have been picked up.
If they can sort that out, they'd be close to a 4 or even 5 star company in my view.
