Unable to recommend Diving Stones/Revolution Dive/Aqua Sports Benidorm (all operate off the same WhatsApp contact number).

Before we travelled I enquired if they would be happy for me to undertake a try dive (something I’ve done before), as I have had various surgeries resulting in a stoma, it can be off putting to some providers, so I had ensured to have a PADI dive medical completed by my GP, which signed me off fit to dive and shared it with them as part of my initial enquiry.

They had at the time in July responded “We will be hippy to see you”, however when attempting to book this week and confirming I’d bring the dive medical, they have stated it’s no longer possible.. and when challenged, as I have the appropriate medical certificate, they will check with their own doctor.

I don’t blame them for being cautious, however despite chasing they have failed to respond and as you can imagine am slightly frustrated as the whole reason I shared the paperwork at the time of the enquiry was to prevent such issues.

You do have to question how they feel it would be inappropriate despite never meeting me in person and would be again the view of my own GP who has access to my full records.

First of all when we arrived we were told to pay 10 EUR for an extra insurance as they said they would check for the insurance proof when we were going on the boat. But no one asked to see anything. So they just wanted to cheat and earn more money.
Very small boat, very unprofessional and very little personal staff - no interest in foreningers - Only spanish people.
Very poor guidance during the diving.
No intro to where we would dive, what to expecy to see etc.
No check up on us as divers, hand signs, equipment etc. before the dive took place - Only when we asked for it.
The equipment that measured the air was leaking.
We did NOT feel safe.
We do not reccomend this company.
