Don’t waste your time and energy!

Posted on behalf of my husband. Written by my husband.

I contacted Thompsons regarding the negligent diagnosis of end stage liver disease that was given to me by my Gp. Also known as chronic liver disease with cirrhosis. They wasted almost a year, getting me to write to different parties, who only wanted to shift the diagnosis blame on to the other. Thompsons did not even notice that the evidence that the doctor sent had the wrong date of diagnosis. And furthermore suggested that my end stage disease had simply got better, despite me having done none of the things suggested as the reason for my miraculous recovery. I don’t think their medical solicitors are any less inept than the doctors who suggested that it had merely gone away. I was initially advised that unless I stopped drinking completely and received a transplant I was going to die. I was so mentally messed up with the diagnosis, I actually started drinking more. 14 years later I was sent for an MRI to determine another condition and was informed that there was no evidence of cirrhosis or chronic liver disease whatsoever, this is impossible. As any medical professional should know, before suggesting that it could just go away. Two possible remain, either the cirrhosis never existed, or I am not quite human.
For them to say after all this time, that any doctor would have come to the same conclusions, is an insult to my intelligence. Choose another company, unless you cut your finger at work.

Avoid

Avoid! They agreed a price for probate. After 3 months did nothing and eventually said it was too much work and they wanted to charge a lot more before even starting… why it took 3 months is unacceptable and if you agree something you shouldn’t just change your mind.
