Just ate the best ever chips
Just ate the best ever chips. We are here on holiday in Paignton ( although I live in Newton Abbot.....don’t ask!!) I called in to DJ’s fish and chip shop about an hour ago for nothing other than a large box of chips with salt and vinegar. Gosh, don’t ever believe that a chip is a chip! These chips were the best tasting and best textured chips I have ever had. I will certainly be returning again this week for more of the same. Apart from the gorgeous “more-ish” taste to them, I was served by staff who were friendly, smiley, helpful and super polite and efficient. I felt like a VIP. But the best of it all is that these chips are to die for. How can you make a chip so much more than a chip??? We will be returning for more, that’s for sure, and will try some other delights there while we are at it. And the best news as far as we are concerned is that we only live in Newton Abbot so not too far to repeat this experience Again’s and again!! Thank you guys. It is much appreciated.
