if you wanna be treated like you’re less than or like you don’t matter then this is the place for you. The people here, especially the Front Desk are incredibly incredibly unprofessional, uneducated and downright abusive. This will shock you, but I believe that the manager must not realize that in order for the business to work volunteers are absolutely critical so treating them like they’re the Scum on the bottom of your shoe probably isn’t the best idea. All I tried to do was receive the compensation that I was entitled to receive nothing more nothing less. The Front Desk girl told me that I didn’t have the authority to ask her a question about my money.? I told her I’m pretty sure that we can ask any question we want. I didn’t know that I needed authority to ask a question. She then transferred me to her “Manager” who was even ruder and didn’t listen to anything that I said. He told me I wasn’t his problem. It belonged to a different department not his after he told me he was the manager, which is mind blowing. Then when I told him that I couldn’t believe the way he was talking to me or treating me he told me he was then going to make sure that I was never going to be allowed to do another research. Study with them again, as if I was some peasant and he’s some sort of royal king in some kingdom.
all I wanted was to be paid when I was told I was going to be paid . I tried to calmly and politely explain what had gone wrong with my experience and their new payment system. And I was and I was treated like I was a complete disposable disregarded peasant that didn’t deserve even their time of day..
With people like that, working your Front Desk and management positions I would say this place is doomed.
I feel incredibly insulted and incredibly hurt and I don’t deserve it .
I don’t think anybody does and because of that I don’t think anybody should sign up for any research study here. It’s not worth even a dollar to be treated the way that they will treat you. !!
