Awful

I was offered a temporary position with Do & CO at a F1 event. They asked us to come for training in Hounslow a couple weeks before the event, where they explained the uniform requirements. Less than a week before the event, they went an email cancelling my shifts. After investing so much time, having to travel to Hounslow on a weekday, which meant I lost a day of work, and after buying uniform I'm unable to return, having all my shifts cancelled without any explanation was appalling. I found a review from a year ago from someone saying DO & CO did the same to them. I guess causing financial hardship is common practice for them. No consideration, no respect, no ethics. Avoid!

Awful

All information about the event was released days beforehand. Arrived for the training day (complete chaos) - was there for 6 hours and spent at least 4 hours waiting around (honestly) on a day where we should have been taught everything we needed to know for the following day. Finished the training day, collected uniform and was allocated job role, then received an email 10 hours before my shift started stating that ALL my shifts were cancelled. This was the case for at least 40 of us. Awful management, absolutely would not recommend

Do & Co Hounslow is a very bad company

Do & Co Hounslow is a very bad company, some the Admin is not very professional and they go all out to make sure you can’t work there if you are agency and you are looking for work. They do this by negotiating with other admin and getting power over them.

Some of the European Admin workers bring the anti mixed culture in there own country to Great Britain and this makes them not very clever in catching out bad employees instead the victim of the bad employee goes from the company.

What I mean by unprofessional is of the Admin called Christina said “ I don’t want that boy in the whole of the company” and that’s very bad being that she has power over him when he didn’t do anything really wrong. The boy forgot to give a few pens to reception back I think, so this level playing field comes into action and the boy has to take a few weeks of so that the pens small incident can be sorted out, this means the boy is vulnerable to these European Admin ie Christina. Any normal admin would say “Don’t worry about it, it’s only a small mistake and I think it won’t happen again”

Then I think the European Admin told the welfare office to tell them that he wasn’t working at Do & Co.
So what they are probably thinking is “ How is he going to cope, what’s he going to do”

So have your guard on the European Admin they don’t want you agency worker to work there. Don’t bother them about anything because what they would do is they would check your file thoroughly because don’t forget you are the agency worker, your vulnerable.
