Thank you so much for the excellent customer service I received from Down Under Watches. I originally ordered a Men’s Seiko watch which was unsuitable for my needs due to me not researching the watch specifications correctly.
Down Under Watches allowed me to return my watch (brand new, in box etc) and they issued me a refund without any issues whatsoever. The communication was excellent.
Based on such a good experience I purchased another Men’s Seiko watch which was promptly sent. I couldn’t be happier with my new watch, the price and excellent customer service. I highly recommend DOWN UNDER WATCHES !! 🤗

Easy to deal with

I have bought a few watches now from downunderwatches...very happy with their service and customer feedback.I recently had a faulty watch and they handled the return process perfectly...got a replacement watch in less than two weeks after I'd sent the faulty item back. Secondly, the postage was extremely fast.
I received the product within a few days. (DHL) Maybe even two days. Fantastic service.

WARNING!! SCAM!!! DO NOT PURCHASE!!

ZERO STARS I had an incredibly disappointing and frustrating experience with DownUnder Watches, and I want to warn others before they fall for this company’s misleading advertising and poor service.

I purchased a watch solely because they advertised FREE delivery, same-day dispatch, and an estimated delivery time of 4-5 days—perfect for Christmas. The day after I placed my order (and after they should have already dispatched it), I received an email stating that my address required additional postage costs. This was AFTER I had already paid for the watch and been assured that delivery would be free.

On top of this, they then informed me that delivery would take 2-3 weeks, not the 4-5 days advertised. This was not just false advertising—it was outright deceitful. The watch was supposed to be my daughter’s Christmas gift from Santa, and my kids only get one gift from Santa. Thanks to DownUnder Watches, it’s now too late to order from another retailer in time for Christmas, and their false promises have completely ruined the surprise.

The lack of transparency and honesty in their advertising, coupled with their failure to meet the commitments they advertised, makes this company feel like nothing more than scam artists. I’m appalled by their practices and regret ever trusting them.

If you’re considering purchasing from DownUnder Watches, don’t. Save yourself the frustration and shop elsewhere.

Seiko SNXS79K1

Thank you Down Under Watches for my new Seiko 5 ( SNXS79K1 ) watch.
I must confess that I was concerned when I found out that the watch was coming from Singapore to South Australia where I live. That concern elevated when I was asked for more money to deliver and that there was a customs delay.
The extra money was justified as I live in regional South Australia.
The customs delay must have been minimal as the watch was delivered after 6 days from order... amazing considering I have waited much longer for deliveries within Australia.
Well done to your delivery system.
The watch arrived in perfect condition and is working well. After shortening the bracelet the watch fits most comfortably.
My thanks to all... a great watch!

A Happy Little Vegemite

Nice to get an email looking for feedback that isn't just pick a number" and "Why did you select 123"?

First up, I only just recently "discovered" that the company that made my home printer and scanners also made watches branded Orient! (Seiko) Epson is part of the Seiko group. So, I dug a little deeper to find that both companies started off as jewellers and later started making watches, Seiko being the older of the two companies by well over a decade. (Both entities are over 100 years old).

Back in the 1973. I was given an automatic watch, a Felicia, by my Godmother. When I started my first job in banking in 1975, we had customers that offered discounts to the bank staff , one of which sold a brand called Lavina. So, the Felicia got put aside, but retained, and I spent 2 weeks wages on an automatic Lavina watch, which was/is of its time and unconventional in design i.e. not round.

A long time passes and I acquire a Citizen Eco watch, quartz but no battery (and has required attention more than once) and still later again, in 2016 I was given a Longines quartz watch (not of a style I'd have chosen) in recognition for 20 years service and that's had two batteries. I hardly wear that watch because it's very formal and let's just say it's "elegantly masculine" but far too fragile for day to day use.

Now, back to the automatics, no batteries, no failed capacitors and both still working, though one, the Felicia, did require a "rebuild" at one time due to a failed cog, but I found a watchmaker that was up for a challenge, it was fully restored and is 95% original. Neither Felicia nor Lavina, both Swiss companies, exist any longer but their watches live on. I still have all the other watches and rotate use for everyday use.

I like Automatic watches and when I found the Epson connection with Orient watches, I began to look for them online and was pleasantly surprised to find they made a good range of reasonably priced automatic and quartz watches .

I live in Australia so the Down Under Watches Company drew my attention. So I go on-line, find the watch I liked in the my price range and went through the purchase process, got to the checkout and the price changed ..... upwards, to include GST. It was only then I realised that Down Under Watches wasn't in Australia but in Singapore. I baulked, momentarily, and thought "it's a nice watch, it looked like a Seiko but is a Mako, the price is still good for what I'm going to get and how many others in Australia will own an Orient watch", so I pressed the "go" button and finalised the purchase. That was on the 4th of July.

The package containing the watch arrived at my address on the 9th of July. 5 days, I can't get mail from within Australia that quick! Yesterday, the 10th, I drove into my state capital, Perth, and took the watch to the watchmaker that serviced or repaired the others to get the metal strap adjusted and then wore the new watch home.

"Buyer Regrets"? None, absolutely none. It's a well made, good looking watch, might appear more expensive than it was, and it's automatic. No batteries, a real watch. Okay, so it may not be a really well known brand in Australia, but it has a great heritage and a very, very close association with Seiko.

The purchase process, delivery and follow-up by you/your company has been exceptional. If the situation arises I'd be more than happy to recommend you to my friends and family.

I trust Down Under Watches

I trust Down Under Watches, that simple! Over the years I've bought several times, the latest this month. After my online purchase, Downunder emailed me to say that as I live remotely, an extra postage fee would be required. Well,

My first response was "You must be kidding!". But, then I realized, that's fair and reasonable. It was only a $50 watch, and $10 remote postage overnight in Australia would really remove all margin. So,

My finally response was to appreciate the honest approach. It only increased my trust in Downunder.

My tip if you are looking for durable, reliable and cheap daily wear work watches? Casio, can't beat them. Don't pay high retail have a Captain Cook on Downunder. Under $70 stick with Casio. Something flasher?

Casio 'G Shock', these are excellent! Don't pay $300, $400 or $500, such items are frequently under $200 on Downunder. These can be trusted to be authentic. 10 years' service out of a G Shock can be relied on. I have two old clunkers, worn as a builder and soldiering, never maintained them - They just perform.

I trust Down Under Watches.

I ordered my watch

I ordered my watch. a Seiko Automatic Military Nylon Men Watch SNK807K2, on the 26 December and it arrived from Singapore to Perth on the 31st December. The watch came in a nice box with an instruction manual and warranty.

Not Australian at all

Not Australian, bought a watch. It never arrived, when I asked them where it was they said I needed to pay more to cover extra shipping charges even though the invoice clearly stated I had paid for express shipping. Shonky company.

Poor customer service and no communication

Purchased watch online and one week later have received no receipt or any information about tracking numbers. I have had no replies to my emails. Happy to go ahead with purchase if the product is genuine (however several reviews suggest they sell fakes) and if the company would just communicate rather than avoid. Sad to say likely this company is a scam, only delivering crummy watches it has in stock. Buyer beware I say.

I have had a great experience with DUW

I have had a great experience with DUW. My first purchase arrived very quickly it was not my preferred choice and I decided to return it and wait for my preferred choice to come back in stock. I ordered this and it arrivced just as quick. The whole process of returning my purchase and requesting a refund was so fuss free, easy and timely. Saved $150 and watch arrived in 2days

I have to say I was delighted with the service and the watch I ordered through Down Under Watches, and consequently have shared their details with at least x4 friends who were equally impressed. I was really delighted at the saving I made buying the watch from them instead of directly from Fossil, saving of around $150, and it arrived in 2 days! The packaging was great, and the watch was in a very stylish tin. Everything was perfect and my daughter’s boyfriend absolutely loved the watch. I will definitely use them again.
