Testing the waters and happy with the result
I was unsure of buying through these guys so only bought a cheaper orient.
I thought it might be a fake.
It arrived in less than a week from Singapore and is the genuine thing.
I would/will be a repeat buyer and confident about spending more.

Great store!
I’ve ordered form this store a few times over the years pre and post Covid. They have a great range, good prices, very fast shipping (from Singapore being delivered to Sydney faster than from Melbourne to Sydney as of Jan 2022) and better communication in their order status than most Australian based companies. As with all businesses, I’m sure some people have had different experiences but I order inexpensive Casio watches form here so I’m not spending big money or overly worried about faults when I’m spending half the price than in an Australian store and getting it in half the time. For me everything has arrived in working order with no issues.
Will definitely use again and highly recommend!

Avoid at all costs
So Down under watches aka vchain e-commerce aka IDS Company (RTS) is a Singapore company that sells via private websites and sites such as Kogan.com they claim they are Australian. yes they have a location in Vic but this location is purely used to repackaged items purchased. their communication is very poor and clearly scripted (copied and pasted) as proof if they reply to this lol
In all seriousness they claimed they shipped my item the next day after purchase which was great but Australia post only had the shipping info and nothing more with the whole time they claimed they have sent the item and Australia post have it which was NOT the case and 8 days later lo & behold Australia post FINALLY received the item which shows they were lying..... on down under watches it shows they do ship from Singapore but not on their other locations I will be sending this to Australian consumer affairs as there Is NOWHERE at all that I can see their ABN number which is a legal requirement I have asked them for it with no reply at all which is a legal requirement that they do provide it if they are a legal Australian business 🤔🤔🤔

I found Downunder Watches by a web search. Their website is easy to use. Information on their watches is well displayed, making selection easy.
I noted that for Australia, the GST is included in the price, so you know upfront the full cost, with free Express delivery. Other sellers do not include this, so you are charged extra after purchase.
I purchased an Orient watch. It was despatched very quickly, arriving in a week, with full tracking, and well packaged.
My enquiry on a potential issue was answered and resolved very quickly.
I can recommend Downunder Watches as a safe, genuine and reliable seller of factory fresh watches.

Ratio II Freediver 1000m White dial/silicone strap
I Ordered a II Ratio 1000m Freediver and really can't complain. The watch was shipped DHL and arrived very fast, and looking at it on my wrist, now amazing watch.
The watch containers the normal Workhorse NH36 movement so has hacking and hand-wind the screw-down crown and screw-down valve for the helium escape valve.
The Strap is black silicone with a generous size and adjustment.
Outstanding service considering the shipping delays these days.
On a side note the photos do not do this watch justice in person it's so much nicer... but then that's just how photos are.
