Avoid Working with David Pinnell – Unreliable, Unresponsive, and Not an Expert

I hired David Pinnell, owner of dpinnell.com Private Postsecondary Consultant, to help with state vocational licensing for my private postsecondary school. Unfortunately, my experience was frustrating and unprofessional from start to finish.

David required full payment upfront and then delivered a subpar application that was clearly not ready for submission. When the state responded with multiple questions and needed clarification, David refused to engage further or take responsibility. He missed deadlines, ignored follow-ups, and flat out refused to communicate with the state on my behalf—even though that was part of the reason I hired him.

To make matters worse, he submitted documents to the state in a way they couldn’t receive—sending large attachments the department couldn’t open. For someone claiming to be an expert in this field, it’s baffling that he wouldn’t know such a basic and critical detail. This oversight caused further delays and clearly showed a lack of familiarity with the licensing process he claims to specialize in.

If you're looking for someone to guide you through the licensing process and actually stand by their work, stay far away from David Pinnell and his so-called consulting services.
