Buyer beware.
The rates are dirt cheap for a reason. From what I could tell if you get the cheapest car - you can be sure that it will be the cheapest rate out there -BUT the state of it is another thing. The one they wanted to give me ( Black Corsa instead of hybrid Renault Clio) was scratched all over the body , scuff marks and damage where it had been in a collisions, wheels scratched down to the metal of the black hub caps, wheel arches scratched. It had been in a collision both sides of the car - rear offside back and front wing driver side. Damage on the front wing not on the damage sheet - the damage sheet was pre filled out by the company but there appeared to be no way that you could amend it. On the damage sheet - it did not look as bad as it was - also the photos on the tablet showing damage are of poor quality so you don’t see the damage until you see the car.
When u saw the car there was unmarked damage like the misaligned driver side wing. When I said that the wing damage was not noted on the tablet, the guy said it was - he pointed to a bonnet mark on the tablet. I said that was a deep scratch on the bonnet - not a misaligned lower front wing. He then said he would do a photo of the damaged wing or I could. - the whole thing was not confidence inspiring. There was so much damage to the car it would have taken an hour to check it over.
I cancelled the contract and was told I would get a refund - but only time will tell .
Not a great experience for me. Yes, they are cheap but you expect a car that doesn’t look like it has been in one too many scrapes/ smashes.
Their car lot is 10 mins drive from the airport. A shuttle picks you up from zone B at terminal 2 car park at Glasgow airport. The shuttle collection is efficient.
There are decent looking cars in the car lot - but they are the larger more expensive ones. The economy small cars or at least the one they tried to give me are a mess. I suspect the decent looking cars go to the people hiring mid to large size vehicles. I saw a pristine looking red new Clio strategically placed by the entrance to the lot. I was shocked at the state of the car - I took photos.
When a car is so damaged and scratched and scuffed - it is simply too much of a risk to your deposit to hire it - especially when the company hasn’t marked all the damage in its records.
❌❌❌❌ Be aware of this company no matter you take care of car return as they gave you still they have 100s other way to charge you.
Recently hired a car from Glasgow airport for 3 days given 300miles drove only 220 miles, before I give them back I took to car wash get it ready as they gave me as well to fuel station but surprise come after 24hr charged £72 from my card, when I ring them to ask what was that told me ohhh you took car out of midland? There is a charge of £72? What Seriously? I drove car in the UK also was driving only in Scotland never cross the border and under my mileage limit, yes I took to Isle of Bute paid ferry my own why there is charge of £72? Seriously? I been told if you take any ferry you’ve to paid our surcharge on top. So ferry+surcharge+rent+fuel ?
No worth it.
Be aware anyone looking to travel any of isle in Scotland ask them before you go.❌❌❌
Had a terrible experience.
Upon returning the car, I was told there were new damages to the car and was charged £1170. I was in a hurry and had kids around so just agreed to it.
After reaching home, when I checked the Condition report emailed during pick, I could see the damage clearly in the pics. I contacted the customer service and they are not ready to accept their mistake. I then replied to them clearly marking the damage in the pictures. They said the pic in the drop off report was glare and not marks ( or something of that sort) and just closed the case. I have asked for escalation since.
I dont understand how they can lie so blatantly when the damage is clearly visible in the pictures.
Drivalia Glasgw Airport, reply to this review only if you are willing to escalate and not give me the same lies again and again

We used this company through EasyJet car rentals so assumed this would work well. We had purchased insurance to cover everything with x cover through also EasyJet. When we arrived we showed the certificate so they then said fairly forcefully that's fine but we will debit £1500 to your credit card for anything we find after your rental!! we then panicked and paid an additional £135 for the same insurance as we had purchased as we didn't want a £1500 claim on our card. When we returned the car they assured us that everything was good with the car only subsequently to receive a full report of all the damage which was already on the car when we collected it and luckily we had photographed!! Not too sure how this is actually allowed to go on when you hire a car from EasyJet in Glasgow also they are not at the airport you have to get convoyed out to their compound. My advice would be to go hire from one of the known companies on the airport site when you get there.

Trying to book online for pick up at Glasgow was frustratingly difficult.
My wife is usually very adept, but the sheer amount of information required nearly broke her.
Had to pay a penalty charge simply because I don't have a credit card. Debit card and money in the bank was not good enough.
Seen the reviews. Now dreading pick.

Great service from start to finish. Lovely car. Gary was really helpful and the car was perfect for what we needed. The driver who collected us and dropped us was also on time and made it easy for us, really friendly service.

Unfortunately, my experience with Drivalia Glasgow Airport was very disappointing, mainly because I was given incorrect and contradictory information that ended up costing me money.
I specifically asked the branch manager what I should do because I needed to return the car before 8am for an early flight. I was categorically told that this was not possible because the branch did not open until 8am and that there was no other option. Relying on that information, I changed my travel plans, booked accommodation and returned the car the previous evening rather than keeping it until the end of my rental.
When I returned the car, however, I spoke to a Drivalia driver who told me that customers with early flights can in fact leave their vehicles at the airport outside normal opening hours, even during the night, and Drivalia collects them once the branch opens. This was exactly the solution I had originally asked about, yet nobody told me it existed. Had I been given accurate information, I would not have needed to change my plans or return the vehicle early.
There was further confusion over the branch hours. On the evening I returned the car I was told they were closing at 9pm, yet the branch was still operating after 9:15pm and the published closing time appeared to be 10pm. It left me with very little confidence in the information being provided to customers.
I was also charged for 154 excess miles. My agreement states an allowance of “100 Miles Per Day”, but my rental ran from 8 August until 16 August, covering nine calendar dates, while Drivalia calculated my allowance as only 800 miles. The agreement describes the booking as eight rental days, so I have asked Drivalia to explain clearly how a “day” is defined for mileage purposes, as the mileage clause itself does not make this clear.
The frustrating part is that this could have been avoided simply by giving me accurate information when I asked. I don’t expect special treatment from a rental company, but I do expect staff — particularly a manager — to understand their own return procedures and provide reliable information when a customer is making travel arrangements around it.
I have now submitted a formal complaint and asked Drivalia to investigate the incorrect advice, explain the mileage calculation and reimburse the costs I incurred as a result. I hope they deal with it constructively. The company could significantly improve the customer experience by ensuring staff give consistent information about opening hours and out-of-hours returns and by making these procedures much clearer to customers at the time of rental.
By they way when I said that I’m not completely happy with this service and probably won’t come back, the manager said ‘that’s fine’.

I hired a car through Zest (who were superb and not to blame here) and chose Drivalia for my 25th wedding anniversary special trip to Perthshire. On arrival at the desk, we were 'served' by 'Harry' who decided that as my booking was in a shortened form of my full name, a £35 admin fee was immediately charged. I thought he was joking - he was not. He then instructed us on all the things we would be liable for, even though he knew, and we knew, we took every available additional insurance cover via Zest, and would not stop until we listened to it and refused to listen to the fact we were covered via Zest. He was extremely unfriendly. I asked him for his surname and he refused to give it. Zest tried to get the money reimbursed but they said no. Each time I go to Glasgow and find hire car companies awful. Enterprise is the only one that is better although Arnold Clark is our next trial. Never again with Drivalia

Awful experience with pick up at Glasgow airport. Rung them to ask for pickup and waited for more than 30 minutes. Called once after we 15’ to enquire, they informed me the van was on its way but could not give me a timeline. Called again after 30’ to complain vehemently. They hung up and cancelled the van - had to take a taxi. All with 3 young children, the youngest being under 2.

Terrible rental company, avoid, as they are trying to offer low rate, but will charge you extra if late by 1 hr at £50 per day, claiming this no show fee, even if flight delayed. Then make you pay additional cost for an automatic car saying they no longer have the car you originally booked. Fuel is not full-to-full so again make you add more fuel than needed. Insurance with £1500 excess requires a credit card, otherwise debit card per permitted to pay £38.99 per day insurance. Help centre for EasyJet no help at all. Front desk team
At Glasgow airport branch unfriendly and seem very disinterested in the customer.

My booking was through EasyJet, due to my flight delay, I was unable to arrive within the hour of my booking. I was mandated to pay an extra £180 for an automatic car. Rental assistant kept stating the T&C even though I could prove my flight was delayed. Exasperating. Do not use this company and EasyJet were unhelpful too, kept waiting on the phone for 45mins trying to resolve. Avoid car rental with Drivalia and EasyJet.

We hired a car on the 1st to the 3rd July, from the Glasgow Airport branch, everything seemed fine until we drove out. Within 20 minutes it started raining and we turned the windscreen wipers on, only to find out that the actual rubber blades were worn so far down the metal clips were on the screen, we pulled off the motorway on to the slip road and we called the office. They advised us to “pop to Halfords” and get the windscreen wipers replaced, keeping the receipt and bring it back to them where they would reimburse us. We did this, driving out of our way to get to the nearest branch, the manager at the Halfords was amazed that this was a hire car and they had let this out like this, he said if the police had pulled us over we would have received a fine and points, it’s now been over five weeks and we still haven’t had the reimbursed monies, trying to get hold of anyone in customer services is impossible, disconnected numbers from the web site, finally spoke to someone and it’s not their department so they transfer you to another number which ends up being a recorded massage. Absolute joke, basically hired us a car that was illegal to drive, told us to sort it out and then we can’t get reimbursed for the money we spent at Halfords, nearly 6 weeks later, nothing !! My advice would be don’t use this company!!!
