Dunnes Nenagh

Dunnes Nenagh, 2 checkouts in operation this evening at 6pm. Long queues and people so frustrated. Staff walking around when they really should be on tills. No issue with self service tills for 10 or less things. Some staff in nenagh are great but there are one or two that are rude and not helpful.

Dunnes in Carlow

Dunnes in Carlow - worst Dunnes in Ireland .This store and its management are a complete mess. An hour before closing time, the fish and deli counters are empty, cleaned, and ready to be stocked for the following day. There's absolutely no bread. The fresh-squeezed juice machine has been washed and dismantled. It looks exactly as if the store was supposed to close at 8 p.m., not 9 p.m. A book could be written about what happens in this store during the day.

The Christmas parking situation at this…

The Christmas parking situation at this store is disgraceful. The staff monitoring the car park are rude, arrogant and openly hostile, especially towards parents with young children. There are almost no proper family spaces, and parents are sent to a tiny area with only a few spots. Rules are applied inconsistently — some families are allowed to park while others are abruptly told to leave. This is clear discrimination and completely unacceptable.

Bush Tucker Trial from Dunnes

Just chopped a Dunnes iceberg lettuce and as I ventured towards the heart of the lettuce I saw a wriggling slug looking up at me. Thought I was on a bush tucker trial on a Celebrity Get Me Out of Here.
But no it was the usual s**ty fruit and veg from Dunnes. Why can't they get it right.

Dunnes Stores Newbridge Supermarket:-…

Dunnes Stores Newbridge Supermarket:- Quite possibly the worst shopping experience ever. For the attention of the Supermarket Manager... Have a little walk around your store any Thursday between 4pm and 6pm. Navigate your way WITH A SHOPPING TROLLEY between the giant pallets and the RUDE staff. As Customers we are made to feel like WE are in THEIR way!!!! You obviously won't get that special treatment, they only obviously save that for the Customers. God forbid you may be elderly or have a pram! If you start at the Fruit & Veg section, I'm asking you to count the amount of items that have no prices in front of them. As the Manager you have to admit this is not acceptable.
Back to the rude staff - I think we have encountered maybe two nice decent ladies in all the time we have shopped here. I wish I knew their names because in a shop full of rude people, they are a joy to see. One of the ladies has long grey hair, I think she is part time, the other has a bob and seems to work solely on the tills. I will try to only ever go to their tills because the alternative is having to put up with ignorance and being made to feel like we are an inconvenience ..absolutely shocking!! I have had the "pleasure" of hearing about most of their holidays in graphic detail. I've had the "pleasure" of hearing one of the guys on the till have a full blown row with his supervisor while avoiding opening his till, where we watched and waited patiently for 10 mins. In a world where Customer Service is on its knees, Dunnes Stores Newbridge Supermarket has a long long way to go...
Oh, and just to finish...it's an absolute disgrace where they have put the 'smoking' area for their staff. I suggest the Management head out there for an hour and watch your Customers having to navigate through a cloud of smoke/vape and moaning staff, to avoid the rain.... It's an awful first impression of your store...

Dunnes can improve things by…

Dunnes can improve things by re-instating the 5e voucher for spends over 100e.

They sneakily removed it last week

I went to use the 5e voucher I thought I earned, to discover it wasnt there. After checking my receipt I could see I spent over 125e. Which would normally deliver 2 x10e and 1 x5e vouchers in my wallet.

On email to Dunnes valueclub the first email advised that 5e vouchers are available but not over spends of 100e.

I responded and asked when did this get changed. LAST WEEK!!!

Very sneaky, Dunnes.

Bahhumbug Dunnes.

Bought packet of light bulbs and says three per box but when opened them at home there were only two in the box so would recommend checking box in future. Also there prices are gone through the roof in most everything. Razor blades, four in a cartridge, fifteen euro. Never seen it so bad, ripping people off to the bone

Rude & Untrained & Unprofessional Staff & Filthy Toilets ff

Rude Staff, neither greet or thank and tell you when they don't understand what you are asking for, that they don't have it and regularly speak across you to each other even while, before & after serving you. Shocked that the Store is operating with what can only be described as Filthy Toilets in the same building and used by its Customers as I experienced a couple of days ago, finding human faeces on the Floor of one of the dilapidated Toilets in Clane. 5 Star Service

I recently had an issue with an airfryer I bought Exactly a year ago in Dunnes Beacon South Quarter. The handle broke off one of the drawers while I was trying to pour chips into a serving bowl Resulting in a burn to the back of my hand. Customer Service advised me to bring it back with my receipt which I didn’t have. I rang the Valueclub dept and spoke to a lovely lady called Linda who was able to find my purchase after I gave her my valueclub card number. She told me to go
Back to Dunnes in Beacon South Quarter where I bought my airfryer and they would replace it which I did. I was dealing with Lucia the Asst Store Manager who was so kind and helpful and she arranged for a replacement airfryer there and then. A very hassle free 5 star experience. Thanks Dunnes!

I can't recommend this store

Today I saw self-service checkouts and thought, finally, Dunnes has decided to do this. But no, self-service checkouts are only for those with baskets, not trolleys. And then, I checked the cost of the goods on the receipt, and in other shops almost everything is cheaper. The prices are inflated, and there are no self-service checkouts. Other large supermarkets are better. So the vouchers don't work because all the prices are inflated. Therefore, Dunnes vouchers simply cover the inflated prices, but they are a psychological bait for customers. And there are too many inconveniences at Dunnes with checkouts. So I decided in favour of another store.

Since when is ok to comment on customer's shopping?

Since when is ok to be rude to customer's?

Newbridge's ladies at till have always time to chat, even if it is super busy. But don't show your displeasure with their service, because you will hear them moan about it to the customers around you and it will just take that much longer to get out of there.

These days to find somebody doing their job at the till without interacting with everybody around them is impossible.
It's a social club and I do not wish to participate.

Rudeness

Some of the staff in the Arklow store are getting ruder by the week. One claiming they can't look up the price of an item on the tills when every other staff member can. One out right giving out because a customer goes to the express check out with a handful of items and then you have the products on your shelves with no price tags and staff telling you they can't be bought at the tills because they're scanning as unknown item - would it be a stupid question to ask why they are on the shelves for sale if they can't be bought?!

Can not depend on Dunnes for delivery…

Can not depend on Dunnes for delivery as you dont know what you will be left short until the day, plus we where left short when we where told it all was coming . The drivers hand held device had tape on it and did not work. I felt so sorry for him working for a Very greedy and useless company. We can no longer put our family through this so we wont be using this joke of a so called company anymore. This is not the first time. I hope you get what you deserve in life.
