professional liars

I contacted Duong and his team to help me get a business visa to Vietnam. I was quoted a processing time of 2-3 weeks, a cost of $2500, and quarantine hotels for covid starting from $100 USD/night.

"Processing Time: 2 to 3 weeks. Payment Terms: 50% deposit, 50% once we receive the approval letter, entry permit."

I asked if this is a multiple entry-visa, and I was told yes. This is a 2-year multiple-entry visa. They told me I would have to do the hotel booking etc by myself.

I went ahead with their program, pay the 50% ($1250) as they have multiple years of internet presence and a youtube video etc. They were extremely professional and courteous the whole time. Their mastery of the English language is impeccable.

After the 2-3 weeks, I get an email asking for an additional $600 due to health measures that have been reinforced "and all cases need to provide an extended health declaration."

When I finally get an approval from the immigration department 5 months from original date, they say I'm locked into using them for travel, and raise the rates for the hotels to $140 saying the hotels are full for me. I checked with others in the same line of business, and they said there's plenty of room. Ken and his team give me a BS story. They're good with words, and I imagine they've convinced a lot of people with this. With a real visa, I could do all the booking myself.

In short, they promised me a 2 year visa with multiple entry. The immigration form showed 3 months single entry. The itinerary was more expensive than promised, and checking the $600 health delcaration cost doesn't exist. I could not book the ticket myself and they asked for another $3200 to book for quarantine and airplane ticket. And it took 2 weeks to even get that info. When I tried to book myself, the airlines told me documentation was missing (approval from people's committee) Ken and his team said they had special connections in the government to help them book, so I should just pay the additional $3200 and not worry (for a total of $6300). No way was I about to fork over money to them given all the unanswered questions I had and all the weird costs.

A lot of lies. Also, I've seen other comments on youtube get deleted. So don't trust what people say there, because it's carefully monitored and posts are deleted.
