Went over to Prague in November for lens replacement surgery. (Used Praga Medica as an intermediary to arrange and book the surgery).
All consultations / surgery took place at Duovize private Eye clinic. Staff were all friendly, spoke reasonable English and the standard of care throughout my visits for pre-surgery assessment, surgery and then check-ups, was excellent. The main surgeon that they use has done thousands of these operations and so is very experienced. I had no problems with my surgery and I am now getting used to the performance of my Trifocal lenses and my much improved eyesight. (There were many other patients there, from the U.K. and nobody that I spoke to, had anything other than praise for Duovize clinic and their surgeon. All equipment used is 'state of the art' and they offer ALCON (U.S.A) or Carl Zeiss lenses to patients- depending on your personal eyesight background. (These lenses are the industry top standard). In my opinion you do not need to worry about going to Prague for this surgery - you will save over 50% on UK prices, have excellent surgery, a holiday, and most importantly, much improved eyesight.

I am here in Prague at this excellent clinic having my lenses changed for trifocal intraoccular lenses. I cannot express too much as to how professional this clinic is. I came to be here via a website called Praga Medica which is a facilitating business providing connections to Prague private medical services. They meet you at the airport, provide you with a mobile, provide a taxi to get you from your hotel to the clinic, a translator and guide to make sure you don't get lost. The best part of it all if you are British is that including the flight, hotel etc it is less than half the price back home and I must say much more professional. If you are up for lens replacement, choose this place.
