So much better than The plumbers that we have had before

We are very happy with the work that was done. We had a new oil boiler fitted around a year ago and the guys from Durhams heating were both hard working and efficient.The system has been running smoothly, a great improvement on our old boiler.

Absolutely first-class service. Friendly and helpful employee booked me in for a radiator replacement when another plumber had let me down at the last minute. The engineers were efficient, punctual and did a great job. I have no hesitation in recommending this firm. We have always been very pleased with Durham's, their service and workmanship are excellent.

In Spring of 2016 our solid fuel boiler failed. I tried several heating and plumbing companies. All answered the phone and made positive noises about coming to look. Mostly I never heard anything more. (Why can't these people say they can't/don't want to do the work?) Eventually I decided that nobody was interested in doing the work and purchased a boiler with the intention of fitting it myself. It was the driver of the delivery truck that suggested Durham's. A good recommendation. They visited, made sensible recommendations (unlike one plumber who made recommendations which were completely incompatible with solid fuel boilers) and quoted a price which they stuck to. They weren't put off by the fact that I purchased the new boiler myself and came for the work when they said they would, and gave an accurate estimation of the time required for completion of the work. The two plumbers were very tidy, quiet and polite. In the 18 months since, It's all worked fine. Even though I don't think they had fitted such a boiler in a while, they were knowledgable and competent. So what's not to like? Nothing at all! Durham's will certainly be my first contact in the future. Well done and thank you to Durham's.
