I cannot recommend the David Wilson Homes team highly enough.

From the moment I first walked into the sales office, I felt something I hadn’t expected to feel when looking for a new home: relief.

After a very difficult year with my health, the thought of taking on a house that needed extensive building work and renovation was becoming increasingly daunting. I had been looking for somewhere that I could simply come home to, without the stress, expense and uncertainty of months of building work. Walking into the show home, I suddenly realised that I had found it.

The house felt calm, light and welcoming. I could see myself living there, surrounded by my paintings and the things I love, rather than spending the next year managing builders and renovations. What a wonderful feeling that was.

I would particularly like to mention Alice, who has been an absolute stalwart from the moment we met. Some people you simply click with, and Alice is one of those people. She has been kind, thoughtful, patient and incredibly helpful throughout the whole process.

No request has ever felt like too much trouble. Even the small alterations I have asked about have been met with such willingness and care. What has touched me most is that Alice and the team have continued to support me and go above and beyond, even though the house is not entirely mine yet and we are still awaiting exchange of contracts.

I would like to thank the whole team for their kindness, professionalism and genuine support. Buying a home can be a daunting experience, particularly after a challenging period in life, but you have made this process feel exciting, reassuring and, above all, joyful.

I am incredibly grateful and cannot wait to make this house my home. ❤️

Fab experience with Silver Hill Manor @ Rochdale - Tracey was fantastic all the way, from coordinating Site and building preference , mortgage advisor, solicitor. I never had to worry about any of the process especially being a first time buyer. I can recommend this team any day anytime, and finally we love our new home as it’s coming up way beyond our expectations.

Our dream family home search led us to Stonebridge Fields by David Wilson Homes in Mansfield, where we had the pleasure of meeting Yasmina.

From the moment we arrived, she was warm, patient, professional, and incredibly knowledgeable. She took the time to answer every question thoroughly, ensuring we understood the entire buying process without ever making us feel rushed. She also showed us several of the show homes, and they were absolutely stunning.

We completely fell in love with Plot 124. The quality of the home and the development exceeded our expectations. Our only hesitation was the location and the daily commute to and from work for my wife. Had the development been a little closer, it would have been an easy decision for us.

A sincere thank you to Yasmina for making our experience such a positive one. She is a real credit to David Wilson Homes, and we wouldn’t hesitate to recommend both her and the team to anyone considering a new home.

House is great team are great just when moving in it was supposed to be a month later than planned but when we asked to move the date by 4 days David Wilson insisted it had to be that date otherwise the move would fall through. They said it would have financial implications however the bigger financial implication would be that the whole sale could have fell through over 4 days even though we move a month earlier.

John came to put some sealant round the door frame he scraped off the old sealant and has put a plastic strip round the frame it is so much neater and tidier.

Just want to say thank you to the NW care team operators and of Laura M for supporting our issues for just short of two years, without her diligence and tenacity our journey would have been turbulent.
Also want to say thank you to Andy, Ian, John, john, Mark and the other members of the team who have resolved the issues reported to a very high standard. They went above and beyond to ensure our home and we were looked after and happy throughout.
For a difficult job all of these excel and deliver the very highest of standards!

We moved onto Stonebridge Fields in April of this year, since we have moved the after sales care we have received has been second to none. Nothing seams to be too much trouble for them. We have had a few minor issues with the house but nothing to call anything. The trainee assistant site manager Ed Neal has been so helpful. He carries out his job professionally
With a smile on his face. I think he is a really asset to the development and will make a fantastic site manager.

Our showroom experience was excellent with Denise the process was clearly explained and she kept us updated at every opportunity. However the Solicitors PLS we used that was one of David Wilson Homes recommendations were not so good and we used them for our sale and purchase. We had to chase them all the way leaving messages and emails with no response.This caused a lot of stress to both me and my partner.Definitely would not recommend them to anyone!

We had a fantastic experience meeting Michelle and Shawn at the David Wilson Homes Wendel View development in Wellingborough. As first-time buyers, we appreciated how they went above and beyond to guide our decision. Despite our appointment being only an hour long, they both generously spent several hours ensuring all our questions were thoroughly answered. We truly hope to secure a plot with them soon. I genuinely wish I had never purchased a David Wilson home.

What should have been one of the happiest experiences for my family has turned into an ongoing ordeal that has lasted since September 2024.

Our home has suffered from significant defects, including a poorly installed kitchen requiring extensive remedial works, damaged quartz worktops, incomplete flooring repairs, decorating issues and numerous other defects. Instead of resolving matters promptly, we have experienced repeated delays, failed repair attempts and poor communication.

The disruption to our family has been enormous. We have repeatedly emptied and reinstated our kitchen, cleaned up after contractors, lost the use of part of our garage for months because it has been used to store kitchen components, and lived with a half-finished kitchen while waiting for works that should have been completed correctly the first time.

Most concerning of all, during the remedial works I was left terrified in my own home because of the conduct of contractors attending the property. This was an extremely distressing experience and had a significant emotional impact on me and my family. No homeowner should feel unsafe or intimidated in their own home while defects are being rectified.

The complaints process has been equally disappointing. Despite acknowledging that significant remedial works remain outstanding, David Wilson Homes has attempted to treat the complaint as closed. Detailed concerns about workmanship, quality control, contractor conduct and complaint handling have largely been ignored, leaving us feeling unheard throughout the process.

The impact on my family has been considerable. The constant disruption, uncertainty and repeated visits from contractors have taken what should have been our dream home and turned it into a source of stress and anxiety.

I appreciate that defects can occur in any new-build property. What matters is how they are handled. Unfortunately, our experience has been characterised by delays, poor communication, inadequate workmanship and a complaints process that has failed to properly address our concerns.

Based on our experience, I cannot recommend David Wilson Homes.

Sam was so lovely and so accommodating couldn’t help enough really enjoy the experience of buying a house with him so I’m dealing with the mortgage advisor and the solicitors seems to be running smoothly through who Sam recommended.

All of the staff are highly professional, thorough, and genuinely supportive throughout the entire process. The quality of the property build is exceptional, reflecting great attention to detail. The team communicates clearly and transparently, guiding you step by step and ensuring you feel confident and informed at every stage.

We recently purchased our new home from David Wilson Homes, and the entire experience has been outstanding from start to finish. From our very first visit, the sales team was incredibly friendly, helpful, and genuinely caring, keeping us updated throughout the entire journey and making the process feel incredibly smooth. The house itself has been built to a phenomenal standard, with an exceptional level of finish and attention to detail across every room. Even when it came to the expected minor snags that come with any new build, the team handled them promptly, professionally, and with zero fuss. We couldn't be happier with our new home and would highly recommend David Wilson Homes to anyone looking for a premium property and a seamless buying experience.

The team have been excellent right the way through. They really helped me with the process of buying my first home, explaining everything I need and always able to answer questions. Once I moved in, the after care support has been excellent- with emails and repairs being completed extremely quickly, the same day in some cases

We knew what we were getting and although we did not have any input to choices of kitchen cupboards and worktop, or having a shower fitted in the main bathroom, the house is proving to be an enjoyable experience.

Moved to Bluebell Meadows recently. Big shout out to salesman Josh, site manager Neil and his team Alex and Vicky. All friendly, approachable and happy to help. Really pleased with the house!
