Very disappointing service. Dyno-Rod booked an appointment for 11 June 2026 between 09:50 and 13:50, but nobody turned up. I received no phone call, no update, and no explanation. I wasted half a day waiting at home for an engineer who never arrived. Customers deserve better communication and professionalism. Based on my experience, Dyno-Rod showed little responsibility or respect for their customer's time.
We have insurance cover under British Gas, who arranged for Dyno Rod to come out to fix a blocked sink. The person they sent came for a couple of minutes, fixed the blockage but in doing so broke the pipe under the sink so that it leaked all over the kitchen floor whenever turned on. We immediately called Dyno Rod who arranged for someone else to come the next day. The person sent the next day said the previous engineer had done such damage they would need to order a specialist part to fix. They were unable to provide any indication of how long this would take and in the meantime left us with a leaking sink. While waiting for them to arrange the special part, we paid for a different plumber to put some temporary sealant around the pipe so we did not have continual leaking while we waited. When the Dyno Rod engineer returned he was incredibly rude and surly, for no reason, and refused to do the work because someone else had touched the sink (ie added sealant). An absolute cop out given Dyno Rod were responsible for the damage in the first place.

I called Dyno rod at 9.30am for a kitchen drain running low stuck with grease. At 11.am Martin from Dyno rod arrived and fixed it with the motor snake equipment they have. Super fast, professional and clean job.
Only feedback is 190£ for half an hour job is the rate of a brain surgeon, but that's London...

I had George C come to the property today to fix a blocked pipe that was leaking. Needless to say he went above and beyond to ensure that the blockage was dealt with. If you're lucky/unlucky enough to have any issues, just hope you get him showing up at your door

The guy who turned out was really good and polite. Fix the problem quickly and explained the cause of the problem. He telephoned 1st to make sure that I knew what I was going to be charged. Very quick call out as well, telephoned 11 pm last night and by 10 am this morning somebody was here to clear my Drain.

South-west London. I can't recommend DynoRod (DR) to anyone. We had sewage coming out of our toilet, which is unambiguously an emergency scenario. DR first pushed their arrival date; then arrived at the very end of an 8-hr advised window; then refused to believe my wife about the location of the correct drainage channel (which we knew and which is provable!); then said he hadn't brought the right tools and left. When we tried to arrange a second visit, we were told our address was not in the system (DR had made a typo on the postcode), then that they would call back to arrange the callout in a window that they missed; we called two hours later and there was no record of the conversation. We finally arranged a second callout, and this morning they've cancelled it citing a broken down van and all other employees being off sick. So it's been a week and we still have sewage coming out of our toilet, with no fix even attempted. Go anywhere else.
Found a Dyno-Rod van parked completely blocking the pavement near where I live in Barnet. Took pictures and tried contacting Dyno-Rod several times, to complain about irresponsible and illegal parking. No reply on central phone enquiry number, no response to several enquiries via the web site. Unresponsive company with irresponsible representatives - AVOID.

Appalling. Thirty years as a landlord and this is the worst customer service I have received. The Dynorod franchise called Chelsea Plumbing, attended my property on several occasions, confirmed what was needed in pictures too and then didn't do the job as it was supposedly installation error. There initial engineers had made a tiny leak worse in their investigation. This whole scenario was via British Gas homecare...and so they couldn't careless.
