Me and my girlfriend were looking to adopt two cats and we were keeping an eye on their website. One day we spotted two wonderful looking kittens and applied for adoption. Within two weeks they were home in our apartment and living their best life. The staff is great and informative in order to give the animals a safe and good adoption process. Massive thanks to all the heros working here for making a difference for these animals! 10/10 would recommend rather than buying from breeders

We just adopted our first ca from Dyreværnet, and they made it so easy - even for rookies like us! Elvira (now Moka) has settled in perfectly, thanks to all the tips and support we got from the shelter.

The process with Dyreværnet was very smooth and it has resulted in my adopting the sweetest, most loving cat. I'm so grateful that they take care of animals in need. They have a few steps involved in adopting but that's to make sure the animals go to safe, reliable homes. They were very friendly and professional and helped set me up to be a forever home for my furry little girl.

I had very bad experience this morning I had to call and ask about more information, as I Dont speak Danish, I tryed at first speak English usually I have no problems with that.
So, somebody answer me this morning, and I ask can you speak In English, she said yes I do. I told all my story and what information I need, she started speak Danish with me, and I said again can you please speak English as I dont understand Danish yet(maybe she did not understood)
She told me in English, yes I do but I will speak Danish as im in Denmark. And then I ASKED can she give phone to somebody who speak English, she said no we need speak Danish in Denmark, and all those answers she was answering perfect in English. Im shockt how people are still in komunism. Im not long time in Denmark and going to language school. But I need comunicate somehow with people.

Thank you so much for the newest addition to our family. We adopted a lone guinea pig formerly called Emil Lange, now Blacky, since we sadly lost one of our beloved pets and were left with only one. Guinea pigs are very social animals and need companionship, and luckily our two guinea pigs get along very well. I keep looking at your website because I want to adopt more, but I’m sadly not allowed to :(
The staff was super lovely, kind and helpful. Would definitely recommend them for adopting a new pet, they have so many sweet animals in need of a home ♥️
