Avoid Eagle Body Corporate - false economy.

Initially the manager I dealt with was basically a bully, false allegations, misrepresentations. But she is also incompetent in regard to knowledge of Body Corporate law and procedures. I had to spend a lot of time getting things set up with them and providing documentation even though I was not on the Committee!! Then treated like a servant by them and the Committee. They don't issue notices for the AGM until you notify them on the legal deadline. They issue AGM minutes over a week PAST the deadline ie over four weeks later, after complaints. Similarly levies not issued till four weeks after they were supposed to be. Payments not credited. They charge $450 for an EGM whereas previous company charged $200. The manager we have has admitted to having no formal qualifications in Body Corporate management - only on the job training which seems too often to be incorrect or inadequate. Never experienced anything like this company and have been on Committees and dealt with a few managers over twenty years. Keep having to remind them we are Small Scheme module though I sent a copy of the CMS from the title office to them. Then they still get details wrong! As an ordinary owner you may find yourself being treated like a miscreant tenant like I was. Please do yourself a favour and look elsewhere. I've found dealing with them an ongoing frustrating, upsetting and infuriating experience. First time I've ever had to take matters to Conciliation because of them and the Committee who look to them for advice. After that, their personal behaviour improved but not their competency.
