Worsed Experience with Easthaven Property Management

I don't normally ever write reviews or comments online about anything but on this occasion, I felt the need to share my horrendous experience of having my rental property managed by Easthaven after my landlord passed away.

I had a gas safety check carried out by a plumber sent by Easthaven and the main thermostat stopped working properly. This left me unable to regulate the temperature in the flat. The heater in the living room was blasting heat nonstop with no way to manually turn it off as the heater had no valve to turn. Despite reaching out to Easthaven and being assured that the plumber would return to fix this issue, no one ever came. I had to survive living in a 'sauna' for a whole month before my lease finally ended and I could get out of there. You can imagine how expensive my energy bill was for that month.

The building complex of flats was not cleaned or maintained once after Easthaven took over. The hallways and stairs were always filthy, none of the lights ever turned on, and the outside parking area was filled with trash. It is clear that Easthaven don't prioritise the upkeep of their properties.

The final straw was the security deposit. Despite leaving the flat in better condition than I found it, Easthaven still deducted £8 from my security deposit for a missing lightbulb. This petty and unfair charge is just another example of their unprofessional and negligent management practices.

Living under these conditions has been extremely stressful and financially draining. I would not recommend Easthaven to anyone seeking a reliable property management company. Their lack of accountability and disregard for their tenants' well-being is appalling.
