Sometimes the hotels are a bit old and creaky, but the staff are always very helpful and courteous. We have never been disappointed with the conditions of the bedrooms and the food is nearly always excellent.

i find the administration charge of £6 a con the price of the hotels should include it i would not be happy to book a touring holiday stopping at different hotels each incurring the £6 charge the same applies to the cancellation insurance far to expensive other websites include it at no cost

Easy to use site but has to contact company as I could not find where to request twin beds. No problem otherwise

The good:

Booked numerous short breaks with easy-breaks and have never had any problems with them. The various hotels have all been fine and, despite us always booking at the last-minute, there have never been any issues with hotels not receiving bookings.

The bad:

The easy-breaks website can be a bit clunky and awkward to search for breaks in certain areas on certain dates. When you sort breaks by price, it is unclear how many nights the break is for unless you check them individually.

The ugly:

The easy-breaks website tries to sneak a cheeky insurance charge onto every booking by default, but it is easy enough to delete. It might catch out the unwary, though. When it comes to optional extras, I like to opt in rather than having to remember to opt out.

Member of staff, Chelsea, was extremely helpful.

I would have rated this higher but the system didn't allow the use of gift vouchers online. Had to phone in to use my vouchers, which was very disappointing.

Very easy to book online. Don't like the £6.00 booking charge.
Would rather it was just hidden in the overall total price. A separate charge, just makes you feel like you are being ripped off.

On the 'phone, Andrew was very helpful and patient regarding my booking.

The website is poorly deisgned! I wouldnt of used this site if it wasnt for the fact we had recieved gift vouchers from somone. What a farse!

You cant just look at all breaks at once you have to look by area, this takes ages when you just wanna go anywhere.

You cant look for bookings a few days before or after, it requires manual ammendment each time to search dates of availability at breaks.

To use our voucher we had to call, which my mobile provider rejected as I never use credit. This usually means its a non standard call charge and its costs to call. Very annoying as it didnt state this anywhere on the website or how much this would be costing us... Considering the company is based in Edinburgh it seems, it wouldnt be that hard to use a stamdard local number.

The customer service lassie I spoke to was a total lamb though and despite my voucher being tricky to find she pulled her finger out and was a commendment to the company and the one of the only saving graces in our experience. Along with the fact that adding extra charges for a booking online was very obvious. This was actally quite user friendly.

Booking fairly easy once available dates found but website could be much improved for those who are flexible with their dates and want quick view of availability at various hotels.

Bought this deal at very last minute.
No double rooms available but were given twin room with sea view
Now to be honest hotel is dated and yes could do with a freshen up but room was clean, and bed was comfy
Part of deal was 3 course dinner which surpassed our expectations
Good buffet breakfast also
If you are after 5* then don’t book this as all you will do is complain even though price very reasonable
If you have common sense then you will see by the small flaws and enjoy the stay

Easy application to make booking reservation online without any problems. Price for the deal in question appeared very good - and even when the IMPOSSIBLE happened (I'd reserved for 8-10th May and booked and paid instead of the 7th-9th!!) I was able to just phone through and the very lovely lady was able to adjust everything, contact the hotel on my behalf and re-issue a confirmation email using the same booking number but this time with the correct arrival and departure dates!! Excellent service, will definitely use these guys again. Thank you easy-breaks.com !! x

The website for Easy Breaks is awful and is in dire need of an upgrade however if you phone directly to speak to an advisor they are very helpful. Due to the difficulties with the website I will no longer book any Easy Break holidays. I'm sure I am not alone on thinking this and lease take this as constructive criticism.
