A huge thanks to Blake for organizing our amazing trip to South America and Antarctica. Four days before we were due to depart, we had the disastrous news that our Antarctic leg of the trip had been cancelled due to technical difficulties with the ship. Blake to the rescue! He was on the case immediately, securing us a place on another ship. He reorganised our whole trip in a couple of days, no fuss, communicating every step of the way, and even re-ordering our schedule to do it in reverse due to lack of accommodation in Rio. We had numerous flights, tours, accommodation etc so it was quite a feat the first time, let alone the second. Everything went very smoothly and we loved everywhere we went, it just got better and better every day. Antarctica was just magical - it was a dream come true, so well worth the wait in the end :-)

Now we just need to decide where to go next!!

Aurora Village in Ivalo was exceptional: accommodation, meals and activities were all first rate. Staff was helpful and guides were friendly and knowledgeable. Transfers to and between locations were seamless.

Santa Claus Village was fun, and the sauna in our self-contained apartment a definite plus!

I’ve just returned from a trip with Aurora Expeditions to the subantartic islands - Daniel was extremely helpful with bookings, flights and was great to communicate with. Nothing was too much trouble. As someone who travels frequently and books their own flights, accommodation etc.,I wouldn’t hesitate to use Eclipse Travel in the future for a stress free experience. Even when I had a cancelled flight, the ET team were quick to make sure I was rebooked so I could continue my trip without worrying. 5 star service!

Daniel did an amazing job organising our family holiday around Chile. From the amazing scenery in the Atacama Desert where we were lucky enough to experience, rain, snow and sun, along with the altitude and the alpacas, llamas, donkeys and flamingos (kept our eyes peeled for foxes but not this time)!! To the beautiful hikes visiting volcanos, waterfalls and lakes of Pucon and Puerto Varas, it was all breathtakingly beautiful. I loved the last accommodation when we stayed in at the cabanas and BBQ’d delicious meats to the back drop of the first Full (wolf moon) rising over the volcano. Everything was well organised and easy to follow with great recommendations.
We have come back with wonderful memories, a little more Spanish and a love for Pisco Sours!

Our trip entailed lots of details which were all covered and ensured our trip was enjoyable and without stress.
All the guides and accommodation met all our expectations.
We visited 4 countries with 9 flights in 21 days with 2 teenage grandchildren and had no mishaps or plans that went awry.

Blake was super responsive and helped us plan our trip to Antarctica on the Scenic Eclipse. There is no other way we would have wanted to do it - it was perfect in every way. The expedition team to the chefs… we are a ‘young’ couple by Antarctica scenic standards but there was a good amount of adventure.

Eclipse pulled it all together really well. Only had minor issues. The Argentine ‘on the ground’ tour company was the only let down in what was an incredible Santiago-Valparaiso-Buenos Aires-Ushuaia-Antarctica-Patagonia tour.
