Poor workmanship, lies, delays, threats of violence

In summary, poor workmanship, lies, delays, threats of violence.

Fundamentally the worst experience I have had as a customer.

We employed this business to build an office in our garden. The garden had just been remodelled.

They sold the solution to us, there was nothing that was too much for them and the images of 'previous work' were fantastic. All in all, Shayd the owner seemed really nice, they stated that it would be two week’s work and we were super excited.

The first week went well, the structure went up (they used SIP panels) the cladding went up ok and everything was looking ok.

There were issues - they broke a fence, created big holes in our kitchen ceiling where they needed to run the electrics from, grass ruined from being trampled on, new plants stepped on, but we were ok as it was only a week in.

We were then asked to pay our second to last instalment, bring us up to 85-90% of total cost, to help with cost of materials. This should have been a red flag.

From that point on, everything slowed down. Communication declined and labourers visited for a couple of hours every now and then with very little progress or just wouldn’t turn up. Weeks became months, countless deadlines to finish were provided and every single one of them missed.

4 months later the project is incomplete and the interior is so poorly finished we will have to get someone else to do it. In addition, we've still got damage to the fence, garden, and kitchen.

We have had no choice but to terminate the contract and asked for a refund. On doing so the response was 'if you have any issues with that, I will be at your address tomorrow and we can deal with it like men.'

Since terminating we have invited other organisations around to quote, but they have refused to do so due to the state of it, concerned that they will uncover multiple issues.

To make the experience worse, during the initial process they stated to our elderly neighbours that they could repair the roof of their current garden building. Not only did they destroy the integrity of the building, reparation costs have been quoted of up to £14,000, but they intimidated our elderly neighbour for the final payment, standing over her shoulder to ensure they were paid.

We have no choice but to pursue this through other means, despite their claims that they 'deal with things outside of the law.'

I wouldn’t refer this business to anyone.
