Dangerous Driving

Cycling on the bike path near Foothills and Baseline today (June 11 at 5:39PM), as I entered the crosswalk (south bound turn lane for traffic going from Baseline to Foothills) was almost mowed down by a speeding Ecoshield van who didn't look, didn't yield and was driving way too fast!

Run from Sales person... Lies

What went wrong? Everything. I normally just shut my door on solicitors, but this day I didn't. Big mistake on my part. I was guaranteed the areas on my house and property would be taken care of. I would not have any more wasps. So I agreed. The price of this company is 3 x's more expensive than every other company in my area. Treatment day I was told I had a lot of wasps, but welp he couldn't get them and he called his boss and they said to leave it. REALLY? why would I pay for a service never provided. I called the office while the tech was there and canceled my service contract of a ridiculous amount. The company tried to argue with me until they were told I have cameras all over my property and every word was recorded. Run. The bugs are more welcome on my property than this company.

The tech never turned in the check I gave him to pay for my service and they have been continually hounding me for payment. I have never experienced such a confused unprofessional company and would never use them again. they are too aggressive in pushing their services as well.

They door knocked

They door knocked, pressured my client into signing a contract she didn't even see, and happily took her credit card. Charges are hidden - a subscription Service charge is billed monthly and was $89 in addition to the "initial service charge". A total scam. They said they were cheap and good and they are anything but.

The representative knocked on my door…

The representative knocked on my door and informed me that my neighbor just use his service however none on my neighbors have the name he gave me and just pointed in the general direction of a cluster of homes however we all know each other he could not find the evidence of the spiders I allegedly have nesting on my porch he tried to pressure me to pretreat for ant mounds now and I told him I don’t have a problem or evidence of ants on my property at this time he informed me that it would be $100.00 dollars now but $2000.00 if I call later in the summer I did not see any vehicle with or without company identification on our street I told him I heard enough and thanked him he response was”Bug Baller” why would anyone trust or use this service because I have it recorded on our security system I saved it for the future should I need it

Horrible half-@ssed service

The service tech showed up between the allotted hours of 11am to 1pm, to treat our half acre property, home and detached garage. I spoke with him about a few questions on infestations in the garage. I was generally unimpressed with his appearance. To be quite frank, he appeared rather unkempt. His shirt was tucked in the front, but pulled out in the back and his collar was disheveled, as was his hair. I expected a professional who dressed in a manner indicative of the company he represented - apparently that's what I got. His appearance was only the first issue that I had. At his request, I directed him to his initial “treatment” location, our garage at the back of the property. I then stood on my back deck and watched. The tech walked up to the garage door, sprayed around it and proceeded to walk around the building – without spraying. He then came around and sprayed around the entrance door to the garage. At no time did he spray the foundation of the garage as claimed. He then walked around to the front of my home. He did spray around my front door and bay window but not the bottom ground level windows. He then rummaged around on my carport (I walked out to my mailbox while this was happening). He did not treat my back door on the deck – at my insistence since it was on my deck and I had two dogs that were in and out on the deck during and after treatment and I have potted herbs and rose bushes that do not need to be sprayed with chemicals. However, immediately after he left I inspected around my home and there was no indication that any spray had been applied to the foundation of my home or around the back door or windows under my deck – all of that is concrete and there were no wet marks. There was also zero indication of any spray on my car, which was sitting on the carport, directly under the light fixture he photographed and claimed to have sprayed. Pollen is very heavy these days and the pollen on my back window at the very least should show that liquid had disturbed it. There was zero pollen disturbance anywhere on my vehicle. Next, the tech claims that he “granulated the lawn” front to back. Possibly happened in the front yard, never happened in the back. As I stated, we have a half acre and most of that is in our back yard. The only time he was in the back yard was to walk around my garage, which is when I imagine he took the “proof” photo of the yard granulation. I also have a dog (and was dogsitting another over the weekend) and there was dog waste in the yard from earlier in the morning. It was not disturbed, as in there was no granulated anything on it. Yes, I checked. In addition, the entire treatment took a half an hour. I have spread grass seed or lawn weed and feed on my entire property and that alone takes more than a half an hour. The truck the tech came to my home in idled in my driveway the entire time. For a company that calls itself “eco friendly” leaving a truck idling for 30 minutes is rather wasteful, especially at $425+ a gallon for fuel in our area. Last night - 2 days after treatment - there were ants in my home. What did they spray, water?? Certainly not anything to stop large carpenter ants from coming into my home - something the treatment specifically said it would prevent.

Worst possible experience with a pest…

Worst possible experience with a pest control company. My sales rep informed me mosquitoes would be included in my protection and set a date for my tech to come out which was a monday because I would be able to verify the work was done. The tech showed up the next day when I was not home reporting all of the "things" he had done. I let it slide and continued with coverage. I noticed about 2 weeks later after heavy rain the mosquitoes were back. I requested a follow up service for misquitoes, wasps and gnats. For my follow up service they sent a tech out who was only here for wasp and was informed mosquitoes were an add on charge. When I called to cancel the coverage, I was hit with a $250 cancellation fee. Dont do business with this company, its just not worth the hassle

Ecoshield Sales Practices are Deceptive

Ecoshield sales practices are very deceptive. We were led to believe $199.00 was the amount we would pay for a full year of service. My son witnessed this sale. Debit card was charged on April 29, 2026. On the 30 day followup my debit card was charged again. Upon contacting Ecoshield, my first contact was off shore. After being transferred to Ecoshield headquarters, I did not recieve any satisfaction. I have reported the deceptive sales practice to the Better Business Bureau.

I do not recommend EcoShield Pest…

I do not recommend EcoShield Pest Solutions New Jersey, LLC based on my recent experience with their lack of communication, poor follow-through, and overall unprofessional handling of my account.

I had signed a new contract for home pest control and was also in the process of setting up mosquito treatment. The salesperson I worked with was pleasant and genuinely tried to help throughout the process. Unfortunately, it appeared that the information being presented by the salesperson did not fully align with what the company itself was willing to honor or put into the contract. Overall, I felt the company did not properly support their salesperson, which created confusion and frustration from the start.

The mosquito contract needed to be revised due to wording that was not correct for what I had requested. I was told the updated agreement would be sent to me so we could move forward quickly with the mosquito service. Weeks passed, and despite multiple attempts to follow up, I never received the revised contract.

I eventually spoke with a manager, Steven, who stated that the updated contract had been sent, but I never received it. I had previously received the original pest control contract without any problem, so this clearly became an issue of lack of communication and lack of follow-through on the company’s end.

What was most disappointing was that there was absolutely no follow-up from management or customer service. I was told someone from customer service would contact me regarding the situation and my concerns. No one ever called, emailed, or texted me back. Instead, the only response I received was a bill for the contract cancellation fee of over $300 plus tax for a contract I had signed only about three weeks earlier.

While I understand the cancellation fee may have been part of their policy, I do not believe the situation was handled fairly or professionally given the circumstances and the company’s complete lack of communication throughout the process.

Based on my experience, I would not recommend EcoShield Pest Solutions New Jersey, LLC.

The salesman did not provided an honest service and information

The salesman stopped by my house and told me that they would spry my internal and the external of the house for one time cost of $175.00 as a pest control and was told that if I see any sign of pest in or outside of my house within 3 months, they will come back and spray again with no charge. Today someone from ECO Shield knocked on my door and indicated he is going to spry and charge me again for $175.00. and will do that every three months. I found out that the salesperson lied for the onetime charge, called immediately and canceled the service that I was lied to. Do not recommend the ECO Shield service at all

Pushy sales people

They came to my mothers door despite a no soliciting sign and a no-knock sign on the door. My mother has cancer and is going through chemo and went all the way to the front door because she thought it must be important and they wouldn’t leave. In my state you can get shot for things like that 🤷‍♀️.

Steer far from this company

Steer far from this company. Beware when signing up. You are committed to four applications a year amounting to more than $1,000. You're told by the salesman you can cancel at any time. What you're not told is that there will be a heavy charge ($300) to do so. when you call to cancel, you speak to a third party service who couldn't care less that you were essentially deceived at the point of signing. You get nothing more than an apologize for your inconvenience. It's a disreputable company with a snake oil sales approach.
