DO NOT USE ECOVANTAGE
I have recently had a heat pump hot water system installed under the NSW HEER scheme by ecovantage. The day after the install the heat pump did start. I contacted ecovantage customer service and was advised that operations would contact me. They never did, even after more calls, which meant I would have no hot water once the tank was emptied. I finally managed to get the heat going by downloading the manual and working out how to start it ( I never saw the electrician and had no operation instructions) The next issue has been pointed out to me that the hot water pipe from the tank to the tempering was not insulated and neither was the tempering valve itself, my friend has just had the same heat pump installed and pointed the lack of insulation compared his install. I also have an issue with the heat pump and so I contacted customer service on multiple occasions about the issues and once was told operations would be in contact, and once agin they never contacted me. I also phoned the electrician and texted him with no response, I contacted the assessor and texted him and got no response. I would never ever recommend ecovantage.
ecovantage need to upgrade their customer service which to me at the moment is none existant.
