Horrible company

Horrible company! Technician was a scammed, tried to aggressively get me to sign off for service on a part he stated was $500, when I questioned it he got mad and stormed out. I called the company for the part, it was $70. I called the plumbing company to complain, he could care less. Do not waste your time or money. Clearly trying to take advantage of people.

Had a VERY small gas leak in a Mobile…

Had a VERY small gas leak in a Mobile home that was verified by DTE. Contacted Edwards and they could send someone that day. It was a Saturday and I expected a extra charge. I was told that the call out fee was $69.00. The repair man arrived at aprox. 1:00. He looked around and said he could do a pressure test. (Gas was turned off by DTE) I was told that if he had to go under the mobile home there would be an extra charge. He had to leave and get his compressor at home. It was not in his truck! Left and returned 2 hrs. later. Pressurized the line, found a very small leak on the shut off valve. He replaced it and re-pressurized the line to 6 PSI. He then called the company and asked if the job in Brownstown was still on. He then left and returned almost 3 hrs. later. It was about 7:30 PM at this point. The line only dropped to a bit OVER 5 PSI at this point. AT NO TIME DID HE GO UNDER THE MOBILE HOME YET CHARGED FOR IT TO THE TUNE OF $225.00, ON TOP OF A $598.86 "LEVEL 6 Service and Repair: Test Gas-Pipe System CHARGE!!! Ridiculous charges!!! I was not about to argue the charge with the repair person, as he was probably doing as he was told to do. I paid him and he left. DO NOT EVER USE THESE CROOKS!!!

Just call literally anyone else

GO LOOK THEM UP ON BBB BEFORE CONTACTING FOR SERVICES!! We didnt research enough apparently. For the love of God call ANYONE else in Monroe County. They tried to scam us saying a macerating pump costed 2k and was a 5k job. Before we had a second opinion we agreed to replace it. After finding out we were being scammed we cancelled the pump the next day and told Michael we no longer wanted the services or pump. He was great and said we would just pay for the diagnostic visit. The next day the 2k came out and when called to ask when it would be refunded. We were told the accountant was busy and she would get to it. The next day, still no money. Called again told the same thing. Then get a call from Tony (apparent manager?) stating the pump was in. We declined as we already cancelled services. We were then told either we take the pump and they are keeping the 2k they took or we let them install it for $800. We declined again to both. We did not order the pump. We were then told they were keeping our 2k and I quote "we just won't answer the phone anymore". Jonah was then caught trying to sit the pump in our driveway without our knowledge or consent onto our property so that they could try to charge us for it. My husband went to take it back to his van and he refuse to take it back. Jonah got caught up in a huge lie when confronted about the services and screamed at me, as liars do. Resulting in my husband being called a pu*** and being told to f*** off while tossing a middle finger out the window. All of which was caught on cameras and recorded. HUGE SCAMMERS!!

The underfloor heating manifold blew up…

The underfloor heating manifold blew up in our holiday cottage. Despite it being obsolete, Edwards Plumbing sources a compatible item and managed to fit it under time pressure as we had guest arriving shortly. The plumber was an expert in these systems and it works much better than the old one. Couldn't ask for a better service.

Incomplete work, no customer support, unprofessional.

NOTE: I have posted this review in multiple sites. They did not properly back-fill an outdoor drain pipe replacement. We have a small mound where they placed the dirt outside of the trench, and a long furrow next to it, with a clean-out exposed. It's a potential trip-hazard in the dark.

After several phone calls and promises that a supervisor will get in touch, no one responded for months. Eventually I got in touch with Tony (supervisor), who would tell me "By the end of the month.." Didn't do it. "By the end of next week." Didn't do it. "Monday or Tuesday next week." Didn't do it. "Someday this week." I also spoke with a field technician, Connor, who claimed it would be taken care of.

At this point I have given up, and I believe they simply lie with no intention of doing the work. I would not trust the business's response about caring about the customer.

Additionally, when we had another back-up, they first performed a jetting to clean out roots. The technicians did not bring a USB drive to record the image - I had to provide that. They also didn't bring enough water - I had to hook them up with a hose so they could spend an hour refilling. They also didn't bring the correct nozzle/head. Not professional or competent so far.

Then they suggested a ~$4k dig to tear up the basement floor and put down new pipe (that's big money for them). I hired another outfit to get a 2nd opinion - this time one that doesn't do digs, so that there wouldn't be a conflict of interest. The 2nd plumber had much better equipment, was faster and cleaner, provided a video from their scope, and concluded there's absolutely no reason to replace the pipes - just keep them maintained.

They are an expensive outfit, so I would expect good customer service (and properly completed job) would be part of the package. Go elsewhere. They don't care about the customer, and have a conflict of interest where your best interests are not in their best financial interests.
