0 star food hygiene

0 star food hygiene, 0 ethics, 0 morals. The owner Wale thinks he can change the name and people won’t realise it’s still EF Bakers selling the same rubbish they produced before out of their filthy kitchen. Wale doesn’t pay his staff, resulting in many losing homes/accommodation. He treats the migrant workers as slave labour and cuts every corner in the book. The whole place needs seriously looking into! Stay well away from this company and its owner!

Avoid

I was wondering if I should waste my time to rate EF Bakers as I already invested enough time on them however I wouldn't like anyone to go through what I experienced so look at this review as the warning. Last Saturday they charity I am a part of was running family picnic in Havant church grounds for approximately 2-3k people. We were familiar with the bakery as they supported our picnic in 2024. I knew the ownership has changed but I tried my luck and I invited them to our event for a price of donation as it was do e last year. EF Bakers agreed to donate their products which was a part of our BBQ meal. The sales manager was very kind however communication with him was not consistent. Eventually day before event, he agreed and confirmed that his team will come with a truck to sell their goods and they will also bring us 60 breads. I was assured they will be with us at 10am. By 12:30 I lost hope that anyone will turn up. From 12:00 we had customers hoping to buy lunch and we could not serve as the bakery failed to deliver promised goods, they never picked up the phone and never called back. They compromised our venue success and profits wr needed to cover the cost of the event. Luckily nearby market had enough bread we purchased after event started.
What I am trying to say is that even though they sell good quality products, you need to take into account that they ware not reliable when it comes to delivery. If you are the business owner, you run events, I would strongly advise you to find someone who sticks to their ward and maintain good communication as a part of their professionalism. Me and the charity team don't even know how to express our disappointment in the EF Bakers, but bare in mind their new management my drag your business down to marina trench

Not a good service

This Company has, apparently, been sold. The ownership and management have changed and it shows. Online orders not fulfilled; emails complaining about poor service not replied to ("the email guy's off sick") and new management give little sign of any organisational capability or experience. Even using cellphone translation to communicate with staff.
They really need to step up and get the business functioning properly. They could start by putting current, accurate information on their website regarding how to order (if you want to take the chance).

Do not do business with this company

Do not do business with this company! They ignore their customers as a rule, will not respond to complaints, cut corners with the product, and most disgustingly they do not pay their own staff for hours worked. Completely immoral company.

The best bread ever!

We buy their rustic sourdough bread twice a week and have it for toast every morning. It's not only great value, it's hands down the best we've ever tasted! The apple cinnamon buns are also to die for too.

Amazing bread and sweet treats

Amazing bread and sweet treats! I bought a few celebration cakes for my daughters birthday and she absolutely devoured them. Since then shes been constantly asking me for them and i usually get some sourdough bread and the familys favourite crusty rolls. 10/10 bakery with sweet workers! Would reccomend.
