WARNING, AVOID THIS COMPANY. DO NOT BUY FROM ELECTRIC HEATING EXPERT.
I purchased 16 Vantage heating radiators from EHE, total cost over £6000, so when a heater was faulty and wouldn’t work, as a good customer, I expected they would honor their warranty and Consumer Rights Act 2015 rules, but no, they simply sent a spare part with complicated instructions for me to fit it, when that didn’t solve the problem they didn’t respond any further and ignored me.
I searched the internet to find the Vantage manufacturer or another retailer selling Vantage heaters in the hope of obtaining parts, service or repair, but interestingly was unable to locate the manufacturer or any other company connected to Vantage heaters, leaving me with a heater that is unusable, unfit for purpose and unable to obtain parts or repair for.
I contacted Trading Standards via the consumer helpline, they took all details, fully explained and informed me of my position and rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015,
They advised EHE were remiss, they should not have required me to undertake or pay for repair, as the retailer EHE are wholly responsible to provide and pay a qualified person to undertake the repair, also liable for any consequential losses, postage and refund etc.
TS said I was entitled to a full refund.
Also noted is that EHE’s Terms of Business and Warranty are not in accordance with and do not comply with the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
Luckily I paid for the heaters by credit card so presented my evidence of EHE"s improper and dreadful service and claimed my money back via Section 75 claim.
These Guys at EHE are all talk and false promises, as I have discovered, there are far better heating radiators out there, avoid EHE, find a reputable company.
