Look no further if you are looking for a washing machine

Been my trusted brand when it comes to washing machines. I bought a front load washing machine and dryer from them a few years ago and I'm still using it as we speak. I don't know when I will be replacing them since they look almost brand new. I just hope prices are cheaper when the time comes.

ZERO customer service

I have been desperately trying to get in touch with customer service about a spare part of a vacuum cleaner over the last 10 days. No answer to emails, no one picks up the phone and no one returns calls after message left on voice mail. Basically blatant ignorance from A t Z. This is not even poor customer service as there is none to start with. Maybe the trick for a company with 55'000 employees to stay in business over 100 years is to provide no service and hope consumers will keep buying new items when something goes wrong?

Absolutely terrible customer service

Absolutely terrible customer service

I requested a change on an existing order. They told me they were unable to change anything on an order once it was sent, regardless of circumstances.

PostNord says making the change is no problem, either through kundportalen or simply via mail/phone.

Least they could do is tell the truth.

Electrolux customer service (or the lack thereof) has been a frustrating experience.

A++ freezer uses about 410 kWh / year instead of 229 (update)

I had to buy a new freezer and cooler. I bought many Electrolux products in my life, so I thought: why not again!

Well, now I regret. The cooler works fine, the freezer however should use 229 kWh per year, I see now it uses between 400 and 422 kWh per year. So I call Electrolux. First of course all the talking about "did you install it yourself" etc. Okay, I can understand. But then first disappointment: in my opinion a NEW product should be replaced if it does not work correct. No, no! A technician will come after 3 weeks. And he will call one day before he comes about the time.

After 3 weeks: no technician who calls me. So I call. Hm... they don't like that so much. Every time you have to listen to the threatening text: "Even if it is warranty, if it is YOUR mistake, you have to pay!" What?!? I want the freezer to be replaced. Why someone who will REPAIR
a NEW freezer?!?

Well, more tomorrow. See what they will do for me.

UPDATE! Someone from Electrolux visited me. He saw my figures of the number of kWh and agreed that it was way to much. I thought: okay, NOW something will happen!

YES, something happened. I got a letter from Electrolux that says:

"Vi har förstått att din frys inte uppfyller dina förväntningar. När vår servicetekniker besökte dig, 2018-01-13, gjordes en kontroll av din produkt. Kontrollen visar att produkten inte avviker från det som är normalt för denna modell.

Vi vidtar därför inga ytterligare åtgärder gällande denna reklamation."

So my rating goes from 2 stars to 1. Because here they say that Electrolux SAYS it will use 229 kWh per year, but it is completely normal that it uses 410 kWh. Pfff.... my old Husqvarna even used less energy. Of course I will NOT accept this.

So if a Swedish lawyer reads this and wants to help me... please contact me!

Also on the site: "100 days return policy". Can someone tell me how I can get my money back?!? (I checked this already. Costs lots of money.)
