NEARLY CAUSED A HOUSE FIRE AND LEFT OUR COTTAGE UNSAFE TO LIVE IN.........
Absolutely horrendous experience with these electrical contractors. They left our house with unsafe electrics that very nearly caused a FIRE. They incorrectly wired a new immersion heater which resulted in the timer units to MELT. A new range cooker was also wrongly wired and has had to be disconnected as it was so dangerous. A bedroom light into a bathroom light and installed 2 x bedroom wall lights inches from the pillows which could have caused a fire. Work that we had assumed would have been carried out by Elite (all electrical work to the cottage) was actually carried out by an unqualified builder/decorator which also was incorrectly installed. Tried to charge us over £700 to installed 1 x outdoor electrical socket. I then asked them to come back to carry out snagging, which they agreed. I was then sent a bill and was then hounded and BLACKMAILED by saying that if I did not pay they would take me to court and not issue the Electrical Certificate.
AVOID. These “electricians” are dishonourable, carried out unsafe and dangerous electrical work.
UPDATE 15th January 2018. The proprietor has contacted me today ordering me to take down this now amended review and threaten me once again with legal action. Everything in this review is true and honest. Further to this we are now having to have an independent electrical report carried out on the property as they left it in such a dreadful state.
