Do not support El Pollo Loco...ESPECIALLY located on Chatsworth and Balboa! I will make this a personal, disgusting review of their demeaner and lies!
I am handicapped with a service dog, and had to GOINTO the establishment to use an EBT card, instead of a drive thru...like every other establishment.
Got home with my very inadequate food after an 8:30 pm purchase....and realized they left out my burrito. After calling a 1/2 hour the number on the receipt...the phone contentiously said "this number is not working"!
I gave it one more chance...and the lying girl that answered said "they called my name"...which is a LIE...since it took me and my service dog 7-8 minutes to leave the establishment. She said "just come in and talk to the manager"...DID NOT SAY "THAT DAY" (which would be impossible!!...But the supervisor lied as well, and said I had to come back the same day! i told her to look at the 'time' on the receipt...which would be virtually impossible...and the LYING girl...did not say "you have to come back the next day"!!!
Well, I couldn't come back the next day...my service dog had a puncture to her skin...and had to drag myself out of bed to get her to a vet. That didn't work well...after 4 1/2 hours of waiting for stitches (I will leave there review as well...Mission Veterinary Clinic on San Fernando and Balboa...where Mama Lucia used to be! The worst!!)

Perris Ca location is the absolute worst!
I placed an order for curbside pick up. I was so disappointed with the quality of the food. I"m done and will not patronize El Pollo in the future. Usually it's been my experience that it is a hit and miss regarding the food quality. My classic burrito had no cheese and all the ingredients were in the middle of the cracked and hard tortilla. My tacos carbon had a sprig or two of parsley but no onions. Just sad!!

First time going to El Pollo loco and my last. Save your money and go somewhere else. Chicken was very dry and disgusting. Very small pieces. Tortilla shells very small. Sides you guessed it small. Not worth the money.

I have been a customer of Pollo Loco for some time now. They are always friendly and polite to me. Talking about the Mira Mesa site (especially John and Dayla) where I eat lunch. They go the extra mile, sometimes I even get an extra piece, ... however smile is always there.
The mobile app sucks
The mobile app sucks. The corporate customer service dept also sucks. The app is slow. After I added all I wanted to an order and ready to add a reward to the order, the app said "unable to contact the restaurant location ". I wrote customer service and they did nothing.
Great service, Great food
The service and the food, menu and flavor, are great. One of the employees at the Menifee restaurant did and amazing job in helping me. Her name is Olga Gonzalez, she went the extra mile in helping me with the menu and other questions that I had. She was very exceptional. Congratulation Pollo Loco for having employees like Olga.
Workers there are extremely rude
Workers there are extremely rude. Be aware no dining in! Actually gave me and my family raw chicken. Heard in spanish that they should never serve chicken like that again! Never told us about a “wait” and at least gave us a refund.
Always burnt…
I like most of the food but my biggest problem is the chicken quesadillas. Every time I get them they’re extremely burnt to a crisp. I’ve been there multiple times (Linwood, Barstow). Even when I ask them please don’t burn the quesadillas…. ITS STILL THE SAME… BURNT

YUCK! Avocado Salsa & Pico de Gallo Gone Sour!!!
I love the tacos al carbon and order it almost every time I go to Pollo Loco. I especially love the spicy avocado salsa and Pico de Gallo, they give the tacos a fresh and spicy boost. However, make sure you taste both the avocado salsa and Pico de Gallo BEFORE you add it to your tacos or other meals!!!! On several occasions, both have gone bad and taste awful!!! Today my brother bought me the tacos al carbon and both the condiments had gone bad. If I had added them to my tacos before tasting them, it would have ruined my tacos. So, check first and save your meal!!! This happened at the Montebello, CA restaurant on Beverly Blvd. & Montebello Blvd.

Over 60 yrs in Santa Maria and 1st time visit, check your order, make sure you getting what ordered. Not even considering returning ever again. Don’t appreciate business profiting monetarily and being shorted on order contents!

I placed a large order for a friend's birthday and her clinic mates through the Uber app. I needed to add additional food and was unable through the app. I called the El Pollo, located at Hwy 111 and Dunton Way Store 67740 Cathedral City, and spoke with Clint. What a professional person and so very helpful. I was able to add the additional item through his generosity and the utensils that I had forgotten to order. Kindness,professionalism and basic generosity is appreciated. Great store! The company should be proud of such repesentation. Thanks for making my friend's bday lunch a success.
No longer a good deal - Way too expensive for what you get. Disappointment
I last ate at El Pollo Loco years ago, and thought I would try it again. Bad idea! No longer a good deal, as the chicken pieces looked like they came from bantam chickens...really small. Pico was watery and not fresh, portions of rice and beans stingy for the price you pay. Will NOT eat at this eatery again. Huge disappointment.
