Absolute shambles

Absolute shambles, please do not use this company at all. They booked a guy called Kevin so called engineer to come in to unblock my drain. I categorically stated I will only pay the £29 for them to check what’s wrong and since we had just moved in I also notified them we had no electricity as the electrician was to come the next day. They stated and I quote “it’s not a problem we can perform without electricity”

On the day the guy stated that he could not do a jet wash even though he did not need to do it. So that’s fine, the guy unblocked the drain with a plunger he got along n said you will be charged the same if I puts camera down. I confirmed will it be just the 29£ and he said yes. I stated ok, he borrowed electricity from my neighbor I had known for a day and I told him I am uncomfortable him doing that. However now I know why he insisted. He stated after the camera was put down that I had to pay him 140£ plus vat. I was gobsmacked n so was my sis in law. After a long fight they stated we will insure that you have 12 month guarantee for the same block if I pay them 125£, I was so drained by that time that I stupidly agreed thinking it’s ok. Oh forgot to mention, they even threatened me with legal action if I did not pay. They were more than rude.

Guess what the same block was back today, and funnily the same guy reappeared howget lmowing what happened the last time I had a house full of people ready to examine the scam. He came in with the same plunger and this time the block did not go. Now I am him politely why doesn’t he do the jet wash that I paid for the last time n he stated he has the machine in the car. He states, he can’t do it for free. I said it’s under a 12 month guarantee that I have paperwork for, he flustered n asked me to call the company as I was letting go. The guy there Chris asked to transfer the phone to Kevin who stated he needed another man to perform the job the same job he was to perform alone last time. And this time it would cost us 175£+ vat per hour hahaha

Do not spend your money on this crap, scamsters, believe me I am not sure if these guys are CRB checked or anything. Please stay away and inform the authorities like I would so that they are aware.

Please call Dyno Rod instead, wis I had seen these reviews earlier

expensive and didn't fulfill what they said they could do

We have an issue with calcium build up in our toilet. We had previously had a firm out to unblock the said toilet and was told by them we would need a drainage engineer out as we had this build up. I contacted Emergency drain unblocking and described the issue we had and that we didn't want to have to pay for someone to come out who wouldn't be able to remove the build up. I was assured by the operator that the engineer that would visit had specialist equipment that could remove calcium. At first he quoted £240 plus vat I think it was, but after I said that was too much money, he reduced it to £180 plus vat. I said I'd call back. I did call back an hour or so later as no other company seemed to offer the level of options in regards to equipment. I asked again what his best price was and we settled on £180 inc vat, this included a free camera survey. When the engineer turned up, half the equipment wasn't working so he was unable to remove any of the calcium build up at all. His camera wasn't working either so no survey. When the company phoned up for payment they seemed surprised I wasn't prepared to pay the asking price as they had done nothing to remove the build up which when booking the visit seemed sure they would. Certainly won't use again or recommend
