Ok gym
Ok gym. Good equipment. Left because of the few downsides. They keep a waiting list to reduce the amount of people in the gym. When i went around 5-6, I couldnt get a parking space and people were parking on the pavement. I drove home after seeing this. The equipment is weighted already before putting weight on. You are not told anywhere what this weight is, so you dont know what you are lifting. Same with barbells, in other gyms it says 20kg for example on the end of the barbell and here, they dont have this. Sunshower is a great idea but the one at wirral site was in bad condition. It looked like a second hand one from a sunbed shop. Cracks in the lamps. Used it once and never again. Unisex toilets are downstairs but i believe they should be shut and the male/female upstairs be the only toilets. When i went to get water downstairs a guy was using the bathroom with the door wide open. It was a shock. More needs to be done about womens changing. So many people dont know what to do at night when the changing rooms are locked. They dont know where to get the code from. I had to email and figured out myself that you come in the day, its open and the info is inside the changing room. But a few times i was asked about the code on the gym floor. Music is good but its too loud i can hear it even with my headphones on, making it difficult to listen to my own stuff. Everytime i went in i got a notification that mandatory questionnaires hadnt been filled in etc. I never once got asked to do this by staff. It promoted a community feel but i never got this from the gym
