Fast and efficient process
Overall, my experience with Enact was excellent. The entire remortgage process was very smooth, fast, and highly efficient.
The online portal is fantastic and made it incredibly easy to upload all the necessary documents without any hassle. The only minor downside was that the response times on the portal's messaging service could be a bit slow at times, but thankfully nothing was urgent so it didn’t impact the timeline.
Great service overall, and I would definitely use them again in the future!

Good service and a fast turnaround
We used Enact Conveyancing for our recent mortgage application and they did a good job overall. While there were a few areas that could have been slightly better, the team kept things moving. I particularly want to mention Tannon Bradley and Rhianna—their regular communication and encouragement really helped the process along. Thanks to their efforts, we managed to get our mortgage processed in just 10 days. A solid result.

Poor communication, lack of transparency and insufficient case management
Our experience with Enact during our remortgage to Barclays was extremely disappointing.
From start to finish, communication was poor, updates were only provided after we repeatedly chased them, and important messages went unanswered. We were promised callbacks that never happened, and even after raising a formal complaint, no one contacted us as promised.
Our remortgage was expected to complete on 1st July but wasn't completed until 9th July. We were never told why the delay happened or even informed that completion hadn't been arranged. We believe that the only reason the completion of our remortgage happened is due to us chasing Enact, we were never proactively informed by Enact of any issues surrounding our completion date. It truly felt like Enact had forgotten about our case. This delay has also caused financial implications to our mortgage which has never been acknowledged or addressed by Enact.
Our case handler also changed without us being told, and there appeared to be very little ownership of our case. It genuinely felt as though nothing happened unless we chased Enact ourselves.
The whole process was unnecessarily stressful and fell well below the standards described in Enact's own remortgage guidance. We hope Enact takes this feedback seriously and improves its communication, transparency, and case management so future customers don't have the same experience.
