i wish i had read this first....this company is absolutely useless and a complete rip off. they only did what i had zlready done by laying poison and they refused to come back when io said i had a mouse and they sealed nothing, complete con!

Do not use this company. They will take your money and just contact local traders to do the work at a fraction of there overinflated price. It is now common practice for them not to pay the engineers who actually do the work, you can no longer contact there accounts department to get your money, it took me six months to get paid, i was lucky. Please do not use this company, always ring someone local, i cannot understand how this company is still allowed to trade

Helpful and professional on phone..gave quote, offered to come today..But asked for debit card number expiry which was ok?wot wasn't was he insisted on 3 security digits...asked why he needed that info..reply about cud not book job without...ended call politely...

My partner has done so much contract work for this company with promise of pay within 30 days from every single invoice. Now 52 days later and no payment made! The admin staff are obnoxious and claim they are short staffed hence why delay in payment. Yes.....total liars. These terrible reviews for non-payment of contractors dates back years. We have bills to pay and he has paid fuel to travel to all these jobs.

Do not use or work for this company, they do not pay the contractors that they employ.
Legal action taken against them.

If you are a contractor and they owe you money, don't hesitate to take them to court. I am doing so now. I previously had to wait 60 days for payment, and then only my previous threat of court action got them to pay - they say they pay in 30 days. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. Do not be a contractor for them.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. If I could give zero stars I would do so. Waited 2 hours, having cancelled an appointment, only to be told no one could make it this far. I had to start calling around for another engineer to come and fix my emergency problem. Have also had to cancel my debit card as they insisted on up-front payment and now have my details.

Terrible. Awful. Useless. Waste of time. I don't know what it would take to adequately describe this company! I've waited since 10:30 this morning for their emergency plumber to arrive was told it would be by 2:30, then by 4:30, then 6:00 and finally not until Monday (from the original Friday morning). The leak has now filled up half the bath tub and the wall is getting wet inside. Maybe they should be paying ME for the waste of my time and the damage that waiting has now done and will need to be fixed!

This guys are con artists. I paid £175.00 to unblock toilet. They sent a guy with 1inch spinner to the property. He looked round and say, I cant do it. I rang up to find out what they were going to do. They told me to pay them more money by booking another service from them.
I complained, they just dont care. They argue that the terms were in the email which I only get after payment.
I got another company to unblock the toilet for £80.00 by flushing the drains in 30 mins.
PLEASE RUN AWAY FROM THIS COWBOYS, they are con artists

Terrible service. Engineer did not turn up in time slot and sales team refused to assist in finding their whereabouts. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.

Called this company at just gone 9am to request someone to come out fix a leaking pipe. They assured me there would be someone with me that day, by 4pm. It was gone 3:30pm when they rang me to say that...
a) No-one was coming
b) They had no idea why this was
c) They couldn't find out
d) They couldn't offer me an alternative appointment
Frankly, an utter shambles. Poor communication and the epitome of over-promise and under deliver.

We took on a job for this company - the fee we charged them was minimal - the charge ERG made to their customer was 3 x the value we charged them Two months later and we still haven't been paid. Absolutely shocking. As a contractor, our recommendation is do not take on any work from this company as you do not get paid

Absolutely terrible service. Due on Monday, to remove a wasp's nest, no one turned up. Rescheduled for Tuesday, no one turned up again. Rescheduled for Wednesday, phone twice to confirm, no one turned up. Phoned on Thursday, they said they will come tomorrow. each day costing me more money as I had scaffolding up for a job that couldn't proceed until a wasp's nest was removed.

Booked appointment, said to wait in from 12 until 4pm, eventually phoned me up after 3pm to say no one was coming. Told them to F off, as should everyone else.

You would be well-advised to avoid this company.

They act as booking and billing for sub-contractors. They proved staggeringly inefficient at booking a gas hob installation for me, and bloody-minded in their billing of the job.
While the engineer who finally turned up was perfectly good, he hadn't been given any of the right information, which prolonged the job unnecessarily.
Negotiation with ERG over the billing proved useless, so the bill is currently in dispute with my credit card company.
Other customers who inadvertently find themselves using ERG would be well advised to follow the same path.

I booked a Saturday visit from ERG facilities for what I believed was a blocked drain. The quote for £210 per hour was excessive but I needed to have the drain sorted so I agreed the appointment. The engineer arrived early evening Friday without telling me he was coming and he lifted the drain cover, declared no blockage and replaced the drain cover. He rang what I presume was the office to ask how much to charge for the "job" and I was told £95 plus vat! So £114 for no longer than 15 minutes! I contacted the live chat to ask if it was possible to reduce the cost and I was contacted by phone by a representative who said that I had to pay £210 as this was what I had agreed to. I said that the lady I spoke to on the Friday morning said that the £210 was the price for Saturday appointments but the representative on the phone said this was wrong, that the engineer was also wrong in quoting £95 plus vat and I had essentially no choice other than to pay £210
£210 for 15 minutes! I would urge others to steer well clear of this company.

They overcharge excessively.
Call out £135/hr; so no matter how long in property you'll be charge this.
15 minute visit, determined new pump required £135+VAT here's your bill sir £162.00 payable now.
Then you receive quote for new pump and replacement £540.
I got the whole job done for £230.
This company is not covered by any ombudsman or the like so there is nowhere to take your complaint.
Get them in at your own peril, you'll end up paying a fortune.
Unfortunately can't leave no star as that's what it deserved.

Scammers...Don't use or work for this company, they lie to the customer and blame the engineer for everything... Then refuse to pay your invoice because of some stupid Reason or another. Avoid at all costs.

We required an electrician to replace some light switches. We were able to get one to come the next day. He was delayed but rang to say when he would arrive. He did a quick and efficient job he was also very polite and friendly. Would recommend this company.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. THEY CHARGED US £800 TO FIX OUR BOILER AND OVER 10 DAYS LATER WE HAVE NO HOT WATER OR HEATING AND THEY WILL NOT GIVE A REFUND. WE ARE TAKING THEM TO SMALL CLAIMS. DO NOT EVER EVER EVER USE THIS COMPANY. THEY ARE A SCAM
