I gave a one Star for customer service

I gave a one Star for customer service. I went to purchase some computer cleaner, not knowing if they had in stock I asked the staff member, he never acknowledge me just walked to a glass case, opened & took out a spray cleaner, walked back to the desk & rang it up. No discussion whatsoever on the product or price. I was happy they had the item in stock but a little taken back by the sheer lack of customer care that one would expect when shopping in a retail store, there's better competition out there, Eroski should take take a page out of Carrefour 's book, their service is excellent the staff always make you feel welcome! A little smile goes a long way.

The supermarket is expensive

The supermarket is expensive, customer care in person is good. Ordering online sometimes things are not present and substitutes have been a bit hit or miss.

Overall, Expensive, not great for online orders, much better in person, customer service is good.

Good value, decent supermarket

I found Eroski to be good value and reasonably well stocked for a mid-size supermarket. People complaining about the staff not speaking English really need to learn a little Spanish or expect not to have the full experience. You are in Spain after all!

Sant Lluis customer service Zero

Supermercado in San Lluis Menorca has the very worst customer service ever. Went in and bought two large bottles of water and two packs of beers. Attempted to use the self checkout with my trolley as the line for the cashier desk was long and slow. Told not possible other than with a small hand cart. Last time I did this I was prevented from leaving the store to go to my car with a hand cart, and had to put everything in a trolley! I truly hate this store and its officious, unhelpful staff. The one in Mahon is fine…just don’t use this one in Sant Lluis.

I was very disappointed that the cashier couldn't understand when I asked to apply for the Eroski card, I pointed to the sign but her only comment (no Hablar Inglés) also found it very expensive compared to Carrefour but great choice of products!

A humiliating experience in the Larios location.

I had a terrible experience this evening, me and my baby went into the supermarket this evening to purchase milk, we bought 3 items in total. I went to the self service checkout, paid for my items and left. I was coming up the escaltor and I was on the phone, I heard the security women behind me shouting, I didn't know what she was saying as I don't speak Spanish. But she gestured that I had to go back down to the supermarket, I thought maybe my debit card didn't scan correctly however it did. I was marched back down with my 1 year old to the supermarket with everyone watching, the security women and another staff member kept talking in Spanish to each other, a lovely man came over who spoke Spanish and English told them he seen me using a specific till. Then they just shrugged, no apologies nothing. I don't know what would have happened if that nice man did not help me. I had paid and was treated in this disgusting manner. It was humiliating. I hope these two staff members are held accountable for their very poor customer service and common human courtesy. Although its a large supermarket I will not shop here again, Mas staff members are so much nicer and would not accuse someone of doing something wrong and then not even apologise for their mistake.

Tuve una experiencia terrible esta noche, mi bebé y yo fuimos al supermercado a comprar leche, compramos 3 artículos en total. Fui a la caja de autoservicio, pagué mis artículos y me fui. Estaba subiendo por las escaleras mecánicas y estaba hablando por teléfono, escuché a las mujeres de seguridad detrás de mí gritar, no sabía lo que decía porque no hablo español. Pero ella me indicó que tenía que volver a bajar al supermercado, pensé que tal vez mi tarjeta de débito no se escaneó correctamente, pero lo hizo. Me llevaron de regreso al supermercado con mi hijo de 1 año mientras todos miraban, las mujeres de seguridad y otro miembro del personal seguían hablando en español entre ellos, se acercó un hombre encantador que hablaba español e inglés y les dijo que me había visto usando un dispositivo específico. hasta que. Luego simplemente se encogieron de hombros, sin disculpas, nada. No sé qué hubiera pasado si ese buen hombre no me hubiera ayudado. Pagué y me trataron de esta manera repugnante. Fue humillante. Espero que estos dos miembros del personal rindan cuentas por su pésimo servicio al cliente y su cortesía humana común. Aunque es un supermercado grande, no volveré a comprar aquí, los miembros del personal de Mas son mucho más amables y no acusarían a nadie de hacer algo mal y ni siquiera se disculparían por su error.

News flash, many customers read English

News flash: this is the 2020's and English is the universal language. It wouldn't seem that you know this however. Looking at the label on your Eroski brand products, one can find the ingredients listed in FOUR different languages!!! Why are none of them English??? Do you not appreciate all the customers who visited your supermarket and spent their money? North Europeans speak and read English, we deserve to know the information about the food we purchase. Is it Passive-aggressive behaviour on your part because Spanish are xenophobic? There's no logical reason, and it is not polite business.

Charged card, order never arrived

I ordered food online but it never arrived. It was supposed to be here last Monday but didn't arrive. They took money from my card. I sent them email but no response.
