No service - if I speak to the same uselss man on the phone, I might explode. No response to emails. Faulty charger resulted in PCN. Absolutely no help whatsoever.

More incompetence from these clowns. My DD has increased from next month (yes, I know everyone's has) but I discovered by accident as they broke the DD regulations by not notifying me. As the account I use for these payments is kept at a minimal balance, this could have resulted in my unwittingly going overdrawn. If you pay by DD, make sure you check what they're taking next month as they may have increased it and not informed you.

Not completely switched yet but all…
Not completely switched yet but all seems to be going smoothly so far and the communication has been good. The fixed rate seems quite reasonable although my current provider has not yet confirmed what I would have been paying with them. I’m led to believe it would have been much more. Let’s hope I’m actually going to be saving.
Absolute great company with affordable…
Absolute great company with affordable offers and the 2 gentleman's who knocked on my door to tell about how the prices rise would love to thank them again for giving this opportunity and again lovely company with a warming welcome definitely recommend it.
Conned into renewing
Swore blind I wouldn’t renew, but spoke to a lovely lady named Louise and she went through all my worries and at the end of the call felt very reassured. REVIEWED. Yet 2 months later still not received any of the 600 credit on my account, have been told it’s on its way time after time but still not received a penny back. If they do this to every customer that lots of interest in bank for them. Wished I had never reviewed, bunch of liars
Esb energy customer care at its best
Just spoke with John absolute gentleman and very professional and really seemed to care which is unusual these days. I wish I moved from scottish power months ago to this company who care about their customers. He just put me on a two year fixed deal and I can't thank him and Esb energy enough strongly recommend folk to switch to this company. Much appreciated John.

Mis-sold energy package that left me out of pocket!
Was sold ESB on at the door with grand promises of a cheaper tariff, my early termination fees covered, keeping my warm home discount and green energy. Sounds too good to be true? That's because it is.
After calling at the beginning of October about my fees I was told to send in my final bill and they'll credit the amount (£90) onto my ESB account, 3 weeks later, nothing. Called up today to be told it was on my account as it was in credit, okay fair enough, then to be told that they only offer the warm home discount to those of pension age, I'm 30, so there's no way the door to door sales person could think I was pension age!
After coming off the phone I look into my account credit to see the only credit on there is the payments I have made to them.
Call number two, explain everything again and the advisor asked me if I have already left them! Talk about not actually listening! He then tells me that the fees are paid directly to the old supplier.
Now I've just come off the phone with the old supplier who have confirmed that no fees have been sent to them. Lie number 2.
The only thing they have stuck by is the cheaper tariff which judging by other reviews that won't be true much longer.
Absolutely atrocious! I was even shown their trust pilot score of 4.4 on sign up. I wish I checked Google reviews too.
I was contacted by John at ESB Energy…
I was contacted by John at ESB Energy as I have just transferred to them. John explained that as energy prices were due to increase dramatically it would be beneficial for me to change my tariff to a fixed rate.
He was helpful, friendly and made everything easy to understand. I finished the conversation feeling happy with the information I had been given.
Great service Linzi was great on phone

Rang with queery about tariff changes to my account in Jan2022. Zenub Tahir explained everything clearly to me about the tariff and the changes that will be coming. She was very patient and pleasant
Aggressive sales tactics
Aggressive and fraudulent door-door tactics from the sales company they work with. Attempts to profiteer from the current price cap increase by switching vulnerable customers to their fixed price contracts.
