We have been already using Essential Foods for our cat for some time- both dry and wet food and the treats:) Rio loves all of them!
And we also love them due to their clean and healthy ingredients.
We were buying them from the pet stores directly; this time, for the first time, we ordered it through its own website. The ordering process was very easy. The order delivered to us in a short period of time. And to be honest, we got surprised about the quality of the delivery. The packaging and all the materials used was very high quality. The order was packed in a very meticulous way.
Last but not least, I would like to say that now the cartoon box is one of best joy for Rio:) Even though she has many toys and cat accessories, cartoon boxes are her favorite. I made the box like a small cat home. She plays and even sleeps there:)

Best decision ever!
After speaking to the amazing team on the crufts stand this year (special shoutout to the guy with the Salukis - sorry we forgot your name) we decided to go for it and purchased nautical living, estate living and two bags of the beginning. Plus a load of treatos!
Instantly we noticed a change in our dogs, their toilets were more solid ( no more messy clean ups!), much happier and so much energy! Both our Collie cross and Gsd cross can’t wait for meal times! And pleasant surprise the delivery was super quick too!
The treats have been such a great training aid for our 9 month Gsd x, he especially loves the venison sausages And the fish rolls have lasted a little long for our doggy hover (the collie)! the thank you bag of treats is a super cute extra touch!
Highly highly recommend Essentials dog food! Going to have to stock up on some more treats soon!

My 5.5 yo boy was very pick and quite uninterested by food before we found Essential. Would still leave some in his bowl - very unusual for a Flatcoat. Then his niece arrived who was ravenous. Now both have to have bowls with baffles in them! And the skin and beef delights they each get one a week. So happy.

Loved the idea of an Easter egg hunt…
Loved the idea of an Easter egg hunt for our dog. We play 'hide the treat' (hide and seek with treats!) but liked the idea of a little change of game. Bought the egg along with some treats, and the egg had some treats in too! They are a nice meaty rosemary smell which are very tantalising for our dog (smell so good I would probably eat them lol) and he picked up the game very quickly! Have tried a few of the treats, and the dog loves them, and they smell good. Happy dog, happy owner 😍

Our Labrador came from the breeder already on Essentials .
We also had a border collie on another dry food but often had issues with gut health once changing him on to it noticed massive improvement in gut health no longer has any issues .
Easy to order delivery always on time is a plus .

Can honestly rate Essential Foods as five star for a whole host of reasons.
The “boring” (but good!) stuff - always super quick delivery, great customer service, fab discounts when buying more than one product (certainly on bags of food, can’t comment on anything else).
The exciting (and great!) stuff - our two Labradors LOVE this food. One of them has sadly been plagued with various health issues and one of the first questions we are always asked is what food he is on. I’ve yet to find a vet / consultant who has heard of Essential Foods and I don’t know why! They are always amazed when I show them the ingredients and composition - the way this is so easy to find and read on the website shows that they don’t hide and are, rightly so, proud of their products! The protein content is amazing, as are all the other essential ingredients. I feel like my dogs are getting a full meal with each serving.
The same lab has had a typical “lab” tummy for most of his life but we’ve tried different variations of Essential Foods and he’s been great on all of them (can’t comment on beef based food as he’s intolerant to that!).
Both our dogs are happy, healthy and full of the right kind of energy on this food -they aren’t hyper and filled with nonsense, but they’re full of beans and always ready to go!
We sadly lost our third dog last year - our beautiful spaniel girl. We introduced her to Essential Foods when she had gone off her food due to her cancer and oh my goodness she WOLFED it down! It was incredible to see her excited about food again - she loved both the wet and dry food.
We will never part from Essential Foods and hope they never change!
If you’re on the fence - please just go and look at their ingredients and variety. You pay for what you get - and actually I think the prices are extremely reasonable for the quantity and quality.
Bruce & Brodie are two happy boys. And Halle was a very happy girl.

Great quality products
I've been feeding my labrador Essential Foods kibble for about 5 years. He loves all the flavours (but then he is a labrador). My dog trainer put me onto it. Prior to this my dog often had loose stool and there was so much information on the internet about what to or not feed your dog. It's not the cheapest but delivery is quick and we always get a free treat. He's a picture of health and full of energy.

Helped with food allergies
We had tried lots of different dog foods on the market and our rescue greyhound always had a lack of fur. Once we moved to Essential Foods this stopped and for years he has looked much better and probably feels warmer! Saw an advert for the doggie's Easter Egg and was really surprised by the size of it. Have not open it up yet but I'm sure the quality will be good, as I have purchased bars and sausages from the site and my dog loves them.
