I was at a loss and thought that my beloved armchair was no good as everyone else said there was nothing they could do. Then like a super hero ESSEX LEATHER SOLUTIONS said it was not a problem (Mind blown! 🤯). I can't explain the confidence of a positive result this guy has in his ability. With over 2 decades of experience under his belt there is no problem that he could come across that he hadn't resolved before. So was I happy with the results? I think he's actually made it look better somehow. All this and he's a lovely guy too. You can tell that this is a passion, not just a job to him. He ensured that I was happy along the way and I felt as though I was in good hands for the the job required. Rob padded our 3-seater sofa and applied colour; he also cleaned 2-seater. Both pieces of furniture look fab, it’s great to have seating areas plumped up after months of uncomfortable sittingExcellent service- highly recommend. Hope renovation would last for a few years.

Our two expensive armchairs were well worn and we were considering replacing them until I came across Essex Leather Solutions. Rob came and used his magic and the chairs now look fabulous. He worked quickly and efficiently at a very reasonable cost. What we thought was irreparable now have a new lease of life. Highly recommended.

Rob cleaned and replaced 3 cushion pads in our leather suite towards the end of last year. It soon became apparent that one of the seat pads that had been replaced made the chair uncomfortable to sit on. Lived with it for a few months hoping it would bed down but it didn’t. Contacted Rob a couple of months ago to explain the situation and he said no problem, he would come and replace the cushion pad with a thinner one and asked us to text him through our address. He did receive that text but has since ignored any follow up text reminder messages. Having read other reviews we see others have been ignored. Very disappointed.

Wow! What a great find this was. Rob transformed my aging sofa with a brilliant renovation. So nice to deal with an honest, friendly and trustworthy business, thanks Rob for your hard work - it looks absolutely fabulous. Absolutely terrible company!!! We had our sofa restored by Robert last year within 2 months the colour started to peel off and the sofa was flat again. We have tried relentless times to contact him at first we had replied then nothing my wife is now wanting a new sofa! This cost us over £1000 to have restored. I would avoid this company and seek someone else who is more reputable I wish I had looked at all the bad reviews previously on here and Google. I will be reporting him to trading standards it seems this is not the first time he has done this to someone

We had Rob around yesterday to refurbish our two leather sofas. His work was excellent and they look new again. No mess anywhere and prompt work. Would have no difficulty in recommending him.

Had our 2 and 3 seater leather suite refurbished, recoloured and cleaned. What a transformation, they are now showroom quality as good as when we bought them over 10 years ago.

I originally gave Rob a 5 star review on google as he asked for before leaving, however like other clients, several weeks later the leather started to peel. I sent Rob photos and he said he would come and repair. It has been almost a year and he has still not been to sort it and it is getting worse.

Rob did an excellent job on my rather tired and damaged sofa and chairs. Now look like new . Highly recommended.Thank you.

Oct 2024: From my first call with Rob I was assured with his 20 plus years of exprience he could restore our sofas and most importantly in our home.
Due to traffic he was running late but a curtsy call to let us know what was happening was fine.
His expertise was obvious as he explained what he was doing and then dismatled our sofas in a way that I thought wasn't possible, he then repadded the base cushions and the backs, then finished with a leather clean and seal. A fist class job by a true professional with a friendly attitude. I would have no hesitation in recommending Rob.

I had both services of refilling and refurbishing/treating undertaken by Rob. In advance specifications and expectations were discussed and agreed. Rob is extremely knowledgeable and his experience meant he had dealt with all types of sofa/filling/access so nothing was a surprise.
Throughout the refilling he checked with me as to my comfort expectations and he was flexible to ensure I was happy. When it came to touching up worn areas and treating the leather, he was meticulous to create the best and treated it as if it was his own. Rob was a pleasure to deal with and very happy to refer and use again.
