Company sends death plants that aren't true to type without plant passport or labels.
This company sends blueberry bushes that they absolutely do not have the rights to ship "Top Shelf" without any labels or plant passports or any other documentation. Blueberry was not true to type. It arrived in a state that could be described as dead. The plant had many branches completely black and dead. Plants had a severe case of root rot. Very few to no roots left, so bad a weed tree was growing in the pot and the seller didn't even notice the difference. The tree was just kept in the pot. They didn't even bother removing it. I immediately discarded both plants as they were not true to type, root rot, severe fungal infections, the weed tree taking over the pots... Cherry on top, they put one of the plants upside down in the box it came in, despite a clear sign on the box with a breakable logo stating which direction the box should face! Multiple branches broken as a result. Sign of a complete lack of care. To top it off the plant was sent way too late.
My advice for anyone thinking about ordering here: Avoid at all cost. It will only cost you more money getting rid of the diseased plants and packaging material on top of what you originally spend on your order. Plants are not true to type and will arrive dead with weeds growing in the pots instead. If you want to order weeds with dead blueberry bushes there are much much cheaper alternatives.
The seller decided to react after 4 months, I am going to debunk some of the misinformation and false claims they made:
"with no interest in any kind of solution from us sending the missing passports "
This was never offered, not even once. The company does not have the licensing. Sending a licensed cultivar like "Top shelf" without plant passport is illegal, especially without permission from Fallcreek (patent rights).
"The customer sent pictures of the product that did not show signs of disease or a dead plant."
The pictures clearly showed branches that were dead, infected by fungus (black), the weed tree growing in the pot, and many other pictures and evidence send to Paypal as proof.
"Packing a fragile plant upside down makes no sense and has no correlation to how we pack orders."
One of the plants was in fact packaged upside down in the box which had a breakable logo pointing in the opposite direction. Plants were not tied or attached to the box in any way, being completely loose. That is how the company packaged their order yet somehow keeps denying the clear evidence and making up lies to cover up their mistakes.
"However, he/she abused Paypal's general policy to side with the customer in order to get their money back, without the need to send the plants back. Who knows if they were disposed of or not."
I did in fact dispose of both plants, one of them was already dead as a weed tree was growing inside the pot and the roots were that of the weed... not the blueberry plant. Paypall could clearly see this in the evidence I provided them. Not even once did I abuse Paypal's general policy. I followed the rules accordingly, it was in fact the seller that did not provide any evidence and was unwilling to make any compromise. In fact they didn't even reply back. Nor did they ever suggest to send back missing passports... As they DIND'T REPLY.
"This buyer has been blacklisted from making any purchase from us again in the future."
Yeah, I wasn't going to...
"You can also refer to our google reviews and reviews directly on our website."
This shop doesn't have any google reviews which made it hard for me to judge if it was a legit seller. I took the gamble and sadly came to conclusion this is not a legit shop. Reviews on the website are fake, this is obvious from the fact that the same reviews appeared on the site multiple times in the past.
One should question why the name of the shop has changed multiple times in the past months, from EuroGardenCentrum to Euro GardenCentrum to Euro Garden Centrum. I would say that's a bit odd.
Anyone thinking about buying here in the future can make the decision for themselves if they want to buy from a seller that blatantly lies, attacks their customers, stalks someone's trustpilot profile out of spite.
