Worst bus company in Europe.
Of all European long ditsance bus companies, Eurolines is definitely the worst.
I have to travel with them often, when the schedule is not good with other companies or when the prices get too high.
The only good thing about it is the price, yes they are sometimes cheaper than other companies if you dont book early, but the rest sucks.
Buses are often late without any explanation.
Bus drivers often do not speak english and when they do, they are really rude : Last time I travelled with them, I asked if there would be a coffee break on the way on a 6h trip at night, the driver told me No it is not a `tourist`bus, then I told him that other companies offer short breaks along the way and he said then just travel with other companies and stop complaining about ours...
Plug outlets and wifi are nearly always out of service, I travelled with them London Paris one day, the bus was 2 hours early in Paris (4am instead of 6am, but as there bus station only opens at 6, we had to wait 2 hours stopped in front of the bus station, , the plugs did not work, and the wifi was inexistant, like not even showing up on any devices, it was not deffective just not turned on !
Useless to ask the driver they will you it is a general problem and that nothing can be done about it, just because they dont want to do sh** about it.
And their customer service is also really bad they write down wrong phone numbers on your ticket, and you have to look on the internet to find a correct number cause they otherwise will tell you `our customer service is closed now, please hit * for urgent calls` then they tell you that it is busy and that you have to try again...
Some phone numbers are open 24hours but you have to look online, they will generally not show up on your ticket.
You wont die taking Eurolines buses but you will want to.
If you can take another company, DO IT !
