Ihsaan was great

Ihsaan made us feel very relaxed and made the process of buying a new car very easy. He was helpful and knowledgable when we had questions and was very respectful. I would buy another car from here due to how he made me and my partner feel relaxed and the whole process very easy

Ihsaan - fantastic!

We picked up our car today and from the moment we walked in Ihsaan was incredible. Very easy to talk to on the test drive and very knowledgeable. Was a fantastic salesman in a way that made me comfortable, he talked us through all the products that would be beneficial to us and explained them rather than trying to push them on us which actually made us more inclined to purchase. Would highly recommend him if you are wanting to buy off a genuinely lovely guy!

Poor Customer Service

I made an enquiry on line to Evans Halshaw Vauxhall Horsforth regarding a BMW X3 and Mark was quick to call me and discuss the car. All appeared good, I asked for a video, as I was travelling a long distance, and asked what I needed to do to reserve the car and arrange a viewing. Mark said he would get one of his team to send me a video and we could then discuss when I could come up to see the car as it was yet to go through their preparation. The video was sent and I immediately called Mark but was told he was busy and would call me back. No call back so I called again and was told by Ken that the car was being seen by someone else and that it was reserved. I checked on line and the car was still available so reserved it myself and received a confirmation email that that the car would be held for me. Mark did call back later in the afternoon and told me that the car has been sold. This was terrible customer service and a total lack of transparency. I offered in the initial phone call with Mark to reserve the car but was advised to look at the video and then discuss when to view. In the meantime, he had sold it to someone else. I'm old school, my word is my bond. I trusted Mark and that was my mistake, please be aware.

My MOT & Service

My MOT & Service was completed whilst I waited and the customer waiting area was very pleasant on a very hot day due to the air conditioning. Most of my bill was covered by my Service Agreement and the additional charges were clearly explained. I was sent a video of my vehicle inspection and my car was washed before being returned to me.

Really good customer service

Really good customer service. My part exchange was quite complicated (nothing to do with them) but they were very patient and understanding with excellent communication. My new van was fully charged on collection and well presented. Will absolutely use them again. Sales manager Mark was top notch.

Our next visit with our Daughter for her first car, Matthew was again extremely helpful and professional and walked us through all devices offered giving us the best deal for our needs and budget.

Dont buy a warranty from Evans Halshaw

When I purchased a brand new car. I was sold an extended warranty with Pendragon. I specifically asked if the clutch would be covered and was told yes. The salesman even highlighted the section in the paperwork. Started having problems with clutch after 15000 miles. The clutch pedal stays down so you can't change gear. You have to lift it up with your foot. Common fault in Vauxhall vehicles. Made a claim under warranty and they declined the claim. Pendragon won't even speak to you on the phone you have to email. DO NOT PURCHASE A WARRANTY WITH THIS COMPANY. TOTAL WASTE OF MONEY. I know have £2000 bill.

Poor communication

Not been informed about the progress, not addressing all the issues without me telling them and finding out later on they hadn't reset the Tyre pressure monitoring system. For a new customer not impressed.
