Horrible experience

We do not recommend this airline company. We book a flight for our holidays from Madrid to La Habana and they cancelled it within 10 days prior to our departure telling us that they had some "operative issues".
We have claimed a compensation, and they avoid any responsibility. Now they argue that the cancellation was due to extraordinary causes...
Evelop has ruined our holiday/trip.

Horrible

Horrible, please dont book flights with this company, they will ruin your holidays.I book a flight Madrid-La Habana and they cancelled it 10 days before departure due to"operative reasons"(they cancelled flights on wednesdays in november Mad-HAV), and after claiming the compensation they answer that the cancellation was due to extraordinary causes, when it's not true. They ruin the holidays , try to book with another company ,as Evelop/iberojet will ruin your trip.if you have suffered the cancellation you can claim your compensation in AESA (the spanish competent authority),please claim

Horrible experience

Horrible experience, first time and Last with them. Problems with the luggage, horrible horrible horrible food, the worst i ever tasted in my life.
80gr of pasta with tomate sauce? Thats all? Are you kiding me?.
Last meal serrano ham of a quality that i would never give it to my dog.
Small seats with small place, personal doing nothing with the People pulling theyre suitcases in your place.
First and Last time with the worst company i ever tripped.

Everything started when the company refused to give me a refund, despite my impossibility of leaving UK (because of COVID-related decisions). Asked to speak to a manager and asked for reasons but nothing was "possible" (literal word from customer service).
I finally got a voucher, even thought this had to be used before March 2022, and tickets for each destination and date were over the price I got a voucher.
Luckily I managed to use the voucher for the same flight i initially scheduled since the UK government lifted all limitations. But using the voucher on the website was not possible, and I had to call someone that speak barely english and took more than 15 mins to peak up the line to tell me I had to check in at the airport.
Evelop's customer service at Barajas Airport was as expected...beyond poor! Not even a single word of english. The worst manners and body gestures.
Ahhh! And if you want to watch a movie on a flight that you paid more than £350, you have to pay 4 euros for your own earplugs (that don't even work).

SCAM ALERT! CHEATERS! SCAM ALERT! CHEATERS!

This "company" sold me in July flight that doesn't exist, I called the airline and they didn't have legal permission to operate. They stole me 200 euros! I am calling every month since then and they just keep telling me that next weeks I get my money, all lies. I don't know what to do, I will write a bad review on the internet for everyday that they keep my money.
Such a lack of ethics, its difficult times for everyone and they steal a poor person who only wants to visit his family to keep them richer.... Shame on you

Took an economy BA flight from London…

Took an economy BA flight from London to New York at the weekend and Evelop was the carrier. I was a little apprehensive after reading some poor reviews, but my experience (both ways) can't really be faulted too much; and certainly not the crews, who were pleasant and helpful on both flights. There was a woman travelling alone with a young baby a couple of seats in front of me, and at one point I saw a stewardess holding the baby to allow the mother to use the toilet, while a couple of the male stewards played peek-a-boo to entertain the baby and distract it from crying :)
The seat configuration on both flights was 2-4-2 and I booked a window seat both ways, which for Economy was absolutely fine - comfortable enough and not as cramped as a Norwegian flight I took on the same route a year or so ago. My only criticisms would be that the food was a bit poor and the choice of movies quite limited (and exact same films on both flights); but apart from that they were good flights and I'd use this airline again.

Imcompetent and no responsibility taken - not worth the small savings

They lost our luggage on arrival in Cuba. At the airport we were told it would be sent to us when it arrived.

Their call centre was closed the whole weekend and so we had to email them.

We finally got a response from them 5 days later. Our luggage had already been in Havana for 2 days by this stage, but we had moved to our next destination.

We were informed they would not be sending our luggage to us, and that we had to pick it up from Havana airport, 4 hours away from where we were staying at that point.

Getting our luggage back at Havana Airport was a nightmare. The airport staff locked us in a cage (I am not even joking, I wish I was) and made us wait hours before they would attend to us. When they finally did, they took our passports into a closed office and made us wait outside. Very bad, and not to mention a security risk on so many levels.

When we arrived back to Madrid, we sent an email explaining the whole situation to Evelop. We have requested compensation, which is outlined the European Law, in regards to emergency clothing and supplies purchased for the trips since we had no clothes, shoes - only what we had worn on the plane.

It's now been 3 weeks and all Evelop have done is consistently ask us for more "documents". We originally sent the Irregularity report from the airport (which anyway contains every. single. detail. they actually need to sort out the case) but then they asked us for boarding cards, baggage tags, even a copy of our original reservation with the booking reference! This is so unnecessary and it is very obvious that they are avoiding taking any responsibility whatsoever for the situation.

They have not yet bothered to reply in regards to any resolutions for the inconvenience or the cost.

If they would a good airline, they would have offered an apology and gone above and beyond to provide compensation for the incompetence we experienced in regards to the luggage they lost.

I strongly advise against using this airline at all cost.
