I've recorded ephemeral thoughts
I've recorded ephemeral thoughts, picked up a foreign language in real time, and used Even G1 to translate voices while taking walks. Daily duties were easily improved with these glasses.
Even reality's G1 are total junk don't buy
These glasses were the biggest waste of money I ever had. They are total junk they don't work properly they have glitches they hang up and the company sucks they do nothing about it to help you. Please do not waste your money on these get real glasses like Ray-Bans or Oakley meta don't buy this s***.
Garbage
Garbage. Transcriptions stall and slow. Sometimes minutes pass before conversation appears on screen. I sent the glasses back to the dealer and they came back and they're still useless for transcription. The company admitted the transcription was slow they've done nothing about it stay away from them. They send you stupid little responses.
This is a dishonest company with a dishonest product. If you're hearing impaired and you're depending on this transcription just use a free app on your phone.
Misled about G2 release
Misled about G2 release — denied refund even after asking before purchase
I bought the Even G1 about a month before the G2 was announced. Before I ordered, I directly asked their support team whether a new model was coming, because early leaks were floating around. I was told it was a “system mistake” and that nothing new was about to drop.
I trusted that and bought the G1 at full price, including prescription lenses.
Right after my return window closed, the G2 was officially announced.
When I reached out, support apologized but refused any kind of refund or credit. Even after I offered to absorb the cost of my prescription lenses, they still wouldn’t do anything. They also insisted they learned about the G2 at the same time as customers, which doesn’t match the timeline they previously brushed off as a “mistake.”
On top of that, their SDK being advertised as “open source” is misleading — major features simply aren’t there yet, despite the marketing.
The product is interesting, but the way they handled this has really damaged my trust. Early customers shouldn’t be punished for supporting a small company.
Even with sporadic 5G coverage
Even with sporadic 5G coverage, navigation was remarkably accurate, and directions stayed up flawlessly.
My Even G1 shipped promptly and…
My Even G1 shipped promptly and everything, from prescription processing to delivery, was completed within 2 weeks. Tracking updates kept me in the loop the whole way.
Good battery
I'd consider myself a fairly heavy user, and I would regularly get a day and a half's worth of life from the G1 glasses before needing a recharge.
Even Realities = Trash Product, Trash Support
The Even Realities teleprompt software freezes at random times. It froze twice while giving presentations, which as you can expect is mortifying having to swap to paper / electronic copy in the middle.
After contacting customer support, they asked for logs, software updates, hardware specs, etc. I requested to swap the glasses in the first week. They asked that I wait for engineer review of logs. I asked to return the product and again they asked that I wait. It has been two+ months and they still say "rest assured engineers are reviewing". I ask again to return the product, and NOW they say it is beyond the return period and offer a "clip" as reimbursement.
This company is a scam. The product does not work. Wait until it freezes on you if you are going to use teleprompt. Don't even bother trying to use the interpret function (that is additional $ by the way). There is a 15 second delay on every word, and 60% wrong.

I had the glasses for about a month or…
I had the glasses for about a month or two, wasn’t impressed with what it provided for the price I paid. It’s over priced and the features often don’t work or activate randomly without you activating them. Only way to fix this bug is by going into the app and clicking restart a few times until it stops malfunctioning, I left feed back reviews and nothing has been done to fix that. Then I broke them by accident, only to find out they have no warranty that covers damages and to fix it I would have to pay an additional 500$ usd. For such an expensive product not to have a good warranty, and how fragile the glasses really are I wouldn’t recommend this to the richest of people. Don’t buy this product if you want something like this do research on better companies like rayneo, even meta. There’s a lot of cheaper options for the exact same product

Great idea, poor execution.
I was really excited about these glasses and bought them because the ads promised a futuristic, cutting-edge experience. Unfortunately, the reality has been very different.
The main issues:
Slow AI: The AI responses take far too long to load, making the experience frustrating.
Stock data inaccurate: Prices are delayed or flat-out wrong. At times, the screen shows outdated info or nothing at all.
Freezing & black screens: On multiple occasions, the device froze completely or went black, forcing me to reset it. For a premium product, this shouldn’t happen.
Customer support was polite but only offered troubleshooting steps that didn’t solve the core problems. They acknowledged that some issues come from “third-party data delays,” which just shows the product isn’t ready for real-world use yet.
I truly believe this concept has potential, and I’d be open to trying a future version once the technology catches up. But as it stands, the product feels unfinished and doesn’t deliver what was advertised.
Ordered and paid. Item never delivered
I ordered my custom made glasses and paid it swiftly. No issues with taking money for the item. But there’s issue with delivering my glasses. I ordered on 01 Aug 2025. It is now end of August 2025 and the item is still not shipped yet. My order number is: 24201362011. I tried to reach out to them only to receive a reply that says, we will check. Then silence and no updates…
I may have to get a refund and make a report on this order soon.
Great for me!
I only use the captioning / transcription feature to help with my deafness. I wear them for about 8 hours a week Using my phone microphone or an attached USB microphone I get pretty good results in many (but not all) situations. The spectacles are beautifully made and the quality of the software has improved considerably over the past 9 months. This is an unobtrusive device and no one has 'spotted them'. No camera- I would not wear them if they had one.
These G1 smart glasses are absolutely SPLENDID
These G1 smart glasses are absolutely fantastic. It took me six months to pull the trigger on buying these because of the price, but now a week after receipt I have no regrets whatsoever. The ordering process and specification of prescription was straightforward, and 16 days later I received my G1. The prescription and view through the lens is perfect, and set up was a breeze. Thanks Even for a splendid pair of smart glasses. I highly recommend.
I really wanted to like the product
I really wanted to like the product, and I do believe the product is almost there, but the software is very restrictive and buggy, which is sad, cause they are shooting themselves in the foot. The hardware is great although their quality check is not up to par, I did have to return my first pair for a warranty replacement. The issues I have are software related. Here is a list:
1. I have to do a "restart" on my glasses almost daily, if I don't, the right and left eye goes out of sync and I will get digital overlay.
2. The software on my Pixel is horrid, first I have to give it tons of permission to just to get my notifications... that's if they actually work, I would say I miss about 75% of notifications... I dunno how hundreds of smart watches work perfectly but they can't get a glass working.
3. the phone has to run a background program as well as the main program, if the main program shuts down then it just does not work. I have to run a seperate software to keep re-starting the even realities program just to keep it working
4. what they deliver is useless at best, the heads up only shows time and one reminder, rest is either an option for notes, news, stocks or map... these are useless, i would love the notes if it displayed more than one or two lines... just make it continuously scroll... how hard is that?? I would have like to see more options, e.g. have a widget for all my notifications, have it scroll automatically so I can see all that's not acknowledged. or have a to do list scroll continuously all the time... dum.
Conclusion, I know I early adopted, but maybe, maybe one day they will fire their software team and hire some competent people... or I can wait for google to launch their glasses soon... what a waste of a good idea and product.
Edit: this is a response to below, I have already sent this same thing on my Even app to support, so far I heard nothing back, I posted on the same day is this post.

Totally changed how I handle client…
Totally changed how I handle client presentations. The built-in teleprompter is insanely easy to use—it just works. It scrolls smoothly while I talk, and somehow keeps up with my pace without needing to adjust anything. Honestly, I feel way more confident now when I’m on stage.
How not to take responsibility
After waiting 90 days for my custom-made glasses, I received three assurances that my order would be sent immediately. However, due to logistic problems and product imperfections the glasses where not send despite promises and the company refused to refund my purchase. They insisted on internal return rules that prohibit returns for custom-made glasses, even after 90 days of delay, despite EU consumer protection regulations. Fortunately, Paypal understood the laws and provided excellent customer service, resulting in a full refund of the purchase amount.
I strongly advise against buying from Even Realities, especially considering the availability of competitors with superior products and better customer service. If you decide to purchase from them, ensure you use Paypal to add an extra layer of purchase protection.

This is an addendum to my previous review. Today I again wore them in church but moved up to the front row and they worked quite well today: >95%. I bumped up the stars on my review.
Stealth mode smartglass
Like a smartwatch but don't have to look at your watch. Messages and emails first 3 lines can be readable on darker surfaces.
Customer service is professional and fast.
Battery enough for 2 days.
Super balanced and very comfortable to wear all day.
Stealth mode smart glass. Recommend 5/5
Amazing Tech and the Future Is Bright
Clear communication for shipping when reached out regarding that. Shipping was great and secure. The glasses themselves have been absolutely awesome and I use them every day. Helps me with focus in regards to work and keeps me from looking at my phone all the time. Teleprompt, translation, and the AI features work well, maps could use some work but is still useful for me when traveling. 5/5
Not There Yet...
Not There Yet...
it's ok but the technology and ecosystem isn't really there yet. it's lacking useful apps and I barely use them. The screen is good but that in and of itself doesn't make the product useful.
The most useful case for me would have been the translation but in practice I've been unable to get audio to text translation to work too well with them.
