Where to even begin

Where to even begin. My local courier is a lovely guy. I had 2 parcels out for delivery tonight. One of them being a bed base. I was given a time of between 7pm & 9pm. Our courier is an elderly gentleman who struggles either the heavier parcels. So when I saw it was him delivering I knew full well with it been a large heavy parcel this wasn’t going to be delivered. I have just received a notification to say “ we have been unable to deliver your parcel and will try again the next working day” even though I’m currently sat on my sofa with the blinds open and no one has been to my house. It’s pointless using the help centre as all you get is a promise for them to keep an eye on it. Then when that fails you just don’t get a response. I know this isn’t down to the courier driver Evri know he’s elderly and struggles so why give him so many parcels especially if he’s unable to deliver the service required and especially heavy ones that he is unable to carry. I myself work in customer service and the customer service given from Evri is zilch. They have no care for the parcels people pay for. This company needs to be shut down and merchants need to stop using them. I would happily pay more for Royal Mail or DPD to deliver

Evri not a good experience

I placed an order with a well known company. I paid for next day delivery on Evri’s website it stated 2 day delivery. Ordered on Wednesday April 29th for delivery next day 30th. They said they were going to deliver Sat May 2nd between 19:00 - 21:00 I canceled my plans and they said on the website We are sorry we will not be able to deliver your parcel. Finally on Tuesday I went to see if they had canceled the delivery and to send back the parcel to the sender. One part said it will go back to the sender and the part on their app said it was going to be delivered today May 5th. They don’t send any emails that it is out for delivery or delayed. You email customer service and the CEO and you get nothing back. I just can’t believe this when you purchase something you never know who is going to be delivering the item except for Amazon. I think it would be good if companies put on their website whom will be delivering the item. Not a good experience how can you say it is going to be delivered and the update the app with we can’t deliver the package today.

I have emailed several times and included the CEO unfortunately no one has bothered to call me or email me back. On the number you give all you can do is check the tracking there are not options to speak to anyone. My package for tracking number H05IDA0030719338 needs to be sent back to the sender. It states on your website that the package needs to be sent back but unfortunately it still states it is out for delivery. It would be good if your app was updated.

I was told to expect my order on the…

I was told to expect my order on the 5th May but it arrived a few days early which was a great help. I didn't take the parcel in personally but the person who received it was very satisfied.
