Terrible, 10 mins late for a booked appointment driver was too busy talking on his hands free to listen to the directions I gave them and ended up going the wrong way

I booked a Taxi and it was 18 minutes late. I did not get a phone call through to tell me it was going to be late. Once in the car the taxi driver was apologizing and was so lovely and tried his best to calm me down as I was very stressed and it was very important for me to get to where I was going on time. I called the same lady operator I booked my taxi with an hour and a half before I needed it and told her how I feel as though I felt I should not pay for my taxi when she told me when I booked it with her that my taxi would arrive at the requested time - I called in the taxi and the minute I started talking to her I felt uncomfortable. She is very rude and you could just hear in her voice how much of a hassle this was for her. I hung up after feeling so uncomfortable with how she was handling my phone call and speaking to me. I called again and another lady operator answered and said she would put me through however It called and the lady I wanted to speak to hung up. That is very ignorant. I called again and she finally said she would knock off 7 pounds but before that kept saying if I didn't pay the taxi driver would have to drive me all the way home and would not let me out the cab and continuously talking to me in ways that made me feel uncomfortable, I felt as though she was very patronizing and should not be an operator if that's how she handles all of her calls of complaints. The taxi driver was very kind and understanding and apologized so many times I felt bad as it wasn't his fault at all he already told me that I was not going to be paying full price which was ever so nice of him. I have regularly used exe cars for a taxi from Ottery to Exeter which is at a rate of 27.00, so I expected to have my taxi bookings on time. This has not been the first occasion where it hasn't turned up on time however this is the first occasion I have had it booked by this Lady and if I'm completely honest she has put me off Exe Cars. I will never be using them again, I will be going back to Apple. I would not recommend this taxi company anymore.
