Undisclosed damage, misrepresentation, and no support after the sale

I purchased a Camaro ZL1 from Exotic Motors in Rolling Meadows, IL as an out‑of‑state buyer, relying on their photos, descriptions, and claimed inspection. When the car arrived, it had multiple undisclosed issues that no reputable dealership would overlook or hide.

The vehicle had structural damage inside the quarter panel, unsafe hacked wiring, a burning electrical smell, a suspension warning, a broken camera fin, and a misaligned front bumper. None of this was disclosed before the sale. They also installed wheel locks but didn’t provide the wheel‑lock key, and the emergency key in the fob wasn’t even cut. They claimed the car had a fresh oil change, but the oil light came on immediately.

After the sale, the dealership stopped responding entirely. Calls, texts, and emails were ignored. They also delayed paying off my trade‑in, which caused delinquency alerts from my lender. I have full documentation of everything.

To make matters worse, they posted a fake 5‑star Google review under my name without permission. Google removed it for violating authenticity rules.

This dealership misrepresented the vehicle, hid major problems, and abandoned all communication once the sale was complete. I would not recommend them to anyone.
