I've just reached the end of the mortgage process with the support of Ben Kistell at Option Finance and i'd recommend him in a heartbeat. Ben is not only knowledgeable he's fast, provides great communication and is so likeable. He made what felt like an impossible task go seamlessly to plan. I've been able to re-mortgage one property as well as successfully applying for an additional mortgage to purchase a second home. The advice and support has been worth every penny of the fee.

We dealt with Ben to get our first mortgage and can’t recommend the service enough. He was knowledgeable and competent, and never made us feel like any question was too small or too silly! He kept us updated throughout the process and was on hand for anything we needed. As first time buyers, Ben provided the reassurance we needed to make those big decisions but empowered us to, ultimately, come to those decisions ourselves. Process took longer than expected. A few hold ups with paperwork on the sides of Antcliffe Mortgages and Enact (solicitors that the lenders use) I had to chase up for information and updates on all sides which was frustrating. Stacey/Lucy from Antcliffe were friendly however. Enact not so much.

I can not recommend Billy highly enough, our situation was very complicated, but from day one, he was always confident we would get the mortgage we required. Superb customer service - we were looking for a mortgage in order to buy an ex-local authority flat to rent to our son, which made it tricky to find a lender who would accept these criteria. I found the contact details online and asked for a call back.
I received a call shortly after my initial query and went through my query with the gentleman. I am not clued up on this area, hence my need for advice from an expert. He came across as condescending, patronising and just out and out rude. He questioned my plans in terms of why I would even want to be doing what we are doing. I highlighted this to him and terminated the call. I felt Belittled and was made to think I was stupid - for not knowing the answers to the questions that i went to him for.
