Express Bi Folding Doors Reviews 

We have been long time customers of BiFold and they have been great pre and post sales. The windows and doors have stood the test of time. We've had a few engineers out for various maintenance issues and Scott has been fantastic, always looking for a satisfactory resolution. Donna Briggs also deserves a mention for always delivering top quality customer service. A solid firm, team and we would highly recommend!

I can unreservedly recommend this company. We purchased bifold doors, windows and a front door a few years ago. When we needed a replacement part last week, within hours of contacting the company, Donna in after sales got in touch to say that the part was in the post and would arrive the following day.

I have purchased quite a few units from this company in the past and have been pleased with them in most respects. Recently I have had some glazing that has failed however it’s no fault of anyone’s and unfortunately it has fallen out of the warranty period. Donna Briggs a senior team member has done her utmost to help and offer me solutions to get it remedied at minimum costs including thinking “outside the box” Which has given me many more options to consider. Thank you for not trying the “sell” and looking out for the best interests of your clients. Undoubtedly it will lead to further business….

Great customer service from the time we placed the order, delivery and after sales.

Spoke to Danny Pickering who sent out our replacement part and was very helpful a credit to this company. Much appreciated. Would definitely recommend.

Since I wrote the below review, I was contacted by the manager Dan Legg, and my experience of the service supplied has change significantly for the better. I have not purchased yet, but the customer service is now excellent.

What’s the point of an appointment
Can’t pass a comment on the quality of the product but I had booked an appointment for yesterday at the Weybridge site. When I arrive, there were two employees dealing with other people, no-one to say hello, please wait etc (although they did have a coffee machine I used). I waited 30 mins, had a look around and not one single contact from a rep.
If this is the honeymoon phase of the relationship, I was super unimpressed.
I did try to call them on the day to confirm, but no answer on the phone and no answer phone available.
Last comment… honest… I work in the service industry and it’s not difficult to manage expectations, even when things do immediately go to plan.

From visiting the showroom, speaking to professionals, the surveyor’s home visit and installation guys… all did a fab job. Thank you.

Having purchased bifold doors from the company in 2011 I have always experienced good after service. I recently had to have someone visit ton replace rubber gaskets. The engineer was extremely helpful and reliable with an excellent manner. I believe his name was Curtis, he is an excellent to the company.

The install team was fantastic, all the windows and doors fitted in 2 days.

Used Express for the second time in a decade (different properties) last year. Great from start to finish. Have always been there to help with any issues and their warranty is first class. They event made a special part for one of our doors and did a bespoke fit. David In East Kilbride very helpful, as were the whole team down south. Recommended.

Initial sales and then measuring up experience was very good, the person who measured was very helpful and accommodating. Installation team was also friendly and worked hard. The windows and sliding doors are basically of good quality but let down by the rubber seals which are not seated properly and visibly wrinkled in many places. Where sills are cut to size on site the ends are left as bare metal which looks unfinished. Also, some form or protective film would be a good idea since the whole glass and frames were absolutely covered in greasy fingermarks which I spent a long time removing.
At the end of the job the installers call the office and hand you the phone and tell you to pay the final instalment - this is quite intimidating and leaves no time for you to properly check their work (you could make them wait but after a long day working it doesn't seem fair).

Highly recommend this company for its high quality product and aftersale service. DANNY PICKERING was so incredibly helpful when we needed to replace a handle on our doors installed about 10 years ago. It was so easy to do as well and he gave really helpful instructions. Such a nice experience when so many companies focus on the big sale and not the after sale service. The doors continue to work brilliantly and are v. high quality.

Excellent customer service received from Eleanor and Abigail and the team, good communication throughout. Doors look really good and receive many compliments from friends. Aftercare service is good and nothing is too much trouble. Would highly recommend.

It was excellent from start to finish, the team turned up exactly on time, the installers were efficient, skilled, communicated well over decisions. Their workmanship was simply excellent, exactly what you would hope for when fitting new doors and windows. I could not fault anything. the quality of the doors and windows themselves again was superb. great job well done

Appalling - Express have fitted our windows incorrectly are refusing to take any responsibility. Their fitters have interpreted the language of the installation survey differently to their surveyor, which has resulted in the windows being fitted at different depths to our door and likely to make our final finish look terrible. It took 3 days to actually get through to someone who would discuss the issue with us and their response was limited. A basic company with basic service - don't be fooled by their attempt to be premium.

Had to contact customer services to get a part for our bi-folding doors. Spoke to Donna who was fantastic! She ordered the part and arranged for it to be fitted. Brilliant, efficient and very friendly service, couldn’t ask for more.

We were first introduced to Express Bi-folds at the SEC homebuild exhibit. We were impressed by the quality, the salespeople were very knowledgeable. A year later after starting our new build we ordered the xp88 unit (the one with the thinner sightlines) from the East Kilbride showroom. I was impressed by the overall quality, chunky rollers and hinges compared to other brands I've seen.

The unit was installed promptly by two very friendly/professional guys. The installer demonstrated it working and everything seemed good.

Unfortunately after opening the bifolds for only the 2nd time since installation, just a few days after, the bottom hinge just came off the frame.

After closer inspection we noticed screws were randomly mismatched in the other hinges, some Torx, others Philips. This didn't look right either.

We operated them very delicately, exactly as instructed by the installer and the guide on the YouTube video.

We contacted Express and to their credit they have arranged to come out and sort it within the week.

We are however left with a bifold that won't shut on one end and is missing a hinge on the other. With the gale force winds we've been having this is quite nerve-racking. I've had to literally tape it shut... and if the wind were to blow the whole thing out I've had no assurances from express that they would be accountable.

The team who installed it were very nice and professional but given it's such a significant fault I requested a second opinion from a different team as I was concerned the original team might dismiss any mistakes in their own workmanship. The customer service advisor at express saw this request to be reasonable and was able to arrange this.

We had hoped to get this exact unit installed in our other properties in the near future but we're left lacking in confidence in the general quality and workmanship and quite disheartened as you can imagine.

My hope is this is a fluke mistake/fault and is very unlikely to happen.

As this is an ongoing problem that they have promised to make right I will come back and update this review accordingly. I've asked for a thorough inspection of the unit insuring every screw is correct and fixed securely and an explanation and reassurance as to why this happened.

Update - Edit - 24-02-25

Thank you Gary and James for your visit, the problem was put right. I believe these guys are quite senior in the company, they certainly knew their stuff. After my initial concerns I felt very much reassured. It was explained to me in great detail the engineering involved and why this fault occurred and I can rest easy that it is absolutely solid now. Very nice guys, I think I can look into making my next order now!

We got our sliding door installed today n it's looking stunning.
The installers were very professional.
Explained everything to us patiently and did a great job.
They took the packaging rubbish aswell with them n left the site clean.

We have been very happy with our bifold doors and family have commented very positively on them. I had an issue with a door handle recently; your customer service team were great in discussing it with me, explaining how to fit a new handle. They sent one out quickly and it was easy to fit. Great service!
